I want to run campaigns to blackhat niches using Facebook custom audiences, but every time I try, either the audience is rejected or the ad gets restricted.
What’s the best approach to safely use custom audiences for high-risk niches like VPNs, adult content, or subscription bypass tools? Any proven workflow to avoid account flags?

Custom audiences can work really well for blackhat offers, but you need to be smart. Start with warm data like past buyers, site visitors, or email lists, then build lookalikes from those. Always use exclusions (like people who already converted) so budget waste na ho. Keep creatives clean and compliant-looking, because risky offers + bad creatives usually trigger bans fast. Test small first, see what sticks, then scale carefully with lookalikes and fresh data.

Don’t upload raw adult or sensitive leads directly. Pre-filter or scrub the data to avoid triggering Facebook’s algorithm.

Your account must be strong enough. Avoid images and content related to Facebook policy violations. You can test the main link, if it does not work, test the hidden link. Research further about Facebook policy violations, fix content/media if violated.

Split your campaigns across multiple BMs and accounts. One audience per account reduces the chance of a complete ban.

Success with tough niches comes from patience and strategy: verify your business, create honest, clear ads, test audiences in small batches, and expand gradually. Playing it smart and ethical keeps your accounts healthy and growth sustainable.

Thanks! I’m starting with warm data and adding exclusions to tighten things up. Keeping creatives clean is definitely a priority. Will test small and scale slow like you said.

Good point — I’m working on building stronger accounts and double-checking all content against FB policies. Will test variations of the link too. Appreciate the input!

Well said — slow, strategic testing with clean ads and proper setup is definitely the way forward. I’m taking that route to build long-term stability. Thanks for the insight!

For your custom audiences, the biggest thing is often not just the audience itself, but how you present your offer. Even if your audience is perfectly fine, if your ad creative or the initial landing page screams 'risky,' you'll get flagged instantly.

Yeah, Facebook is super strict with those types of niches they’ll flag anything that looks even slightly risky. The key is building compliant funnels and structuring your campaigns so the review system doesn’t get triggered in the first place.

If you’re trying to scale safely without losing ad accounts, I’ve got a few setups that work well right now DM me and I’ll walk you through what’s working in 2025.
