Recently Algeria banned crypto.

Yeah, it worries me, but learning self-custody helps me sleep at night

Will need to relocate if that happens. Everything is possible.

It's a real possibility, but the game is always evolving. Diversify your assets and keep an eye on global trends, not just local ones. Adaptability is key in this space.
What does global and local has to do with crypto ? If it is banned in your country, you cannot use it thought it would be traded globally.

bans hit rails, not demand. plan for self custody, p2p off ramps, and neutral copy. in a restricted geo we shifted to education pages and tg p2p guides, kyc pass +19%, we handled a similar case

Governments worry crypto could undermine their national currency

This is pathetic! It has become common for many countries to block and ban the crypto uses.

Banning something doesn’t necessarily make people stop using it, especially with a decentralized system like BTC for example where you can’t really stop wallets from making transactions, no matter the GEO. Most what govs could do is prevent people from buying crypto through banks, but even then there’ll always be P2P options.

I've noticed that Algeria, and some other countries like China and a few Middle Eastern nations, often ban cryptocurrencies due to concerns about capital controls, money laundering, or protecting their domestic currencies. If I'm not involved in illegal activities like money laundering or tax evasion, the chances of my country being completely banned from cryptocurrencies are very low, so it's not a major concern.

No i don't think they will ban it in France. I presume they will add more regulation, maybe some additional taxes. If they want to stop us using crypto, they will do it gently. Crypto became common here so banning it could bring a lot of political problems for the one who will do it.
