Over the years, I have seen many automation journeys here become successful, people automated posting to social media platforms and forums and it worked well, so my people, is it still possible today? Especially for smaller sites

Yes, automation still works in 2025, but it needs to be smarter and more human-like than before.

Most platforms now have better detection systems, so low-quality or spammy automation gets flagged quickly. But if you're using tools with good fingerprinting, proper delays, and natural behavior (e.g., rotation, human-like actions), it can still be very effective — especially for content distribution and traffic generation.

If you can make your automation look like a bored intern posting memes, it still works great

The wide adoption of AI and automation APIs tells me one thing.
Automation is in fool bloom and it will be bigger than ever.
We'll have robots at home and it'll be more pronounced than owning a car.

The problem is with restrictions on social media, but I believe there will be more websites supporting anonymity in the future.
Blockchain is yet waiting for adoption by masses.`

The complexity involved is too much. You have 2 choises. Your either a botter who uses OTHER peoples content, and "tries" to make a one click solution. Or you are a content creator, and you don't care about automation, you move at a manual speed of how fast you release your own content.

I do everything manually on socials, as I have my own content. I have no plans to waste my time trying to save like a few hours a year, and spend months and possibly years trying to make that happen, when I could just be creating more quality memes and animation content.

Everything matters with the context...

I usr automation for link building ( gsa search engine ranker/ranker x /xrummer with gpts plus using plugins , scripts and saas services to manage my content on cms...i am heavily depend on automation...for me now automation easier than ever

Automation can still bring results, but platforms are smarter now, so success depends more on how natural and safe the setup looks.

Automation is still key to making huge money in less time. When you automate, it is like multiple people working for you at just one time cost.

I was just thinking, will it be better to automate a very big platform like Reddit or smaller forums?

On big sites your stuff can be more spammy and still last. I don't mean pure spam. I mean you can post a lot more content.

nowadays smaller sites don’t have the same reach and platforms are much stricter about automation

Yes, it’s still possible, but platforms are much stricter now. Automation works best when paired with real engagement and unique content instead of pure volume.
