Reaching US Audience on Tiktok

I've tried all of the guides, tips & tricks but I still haven't been able to make a proper USA tiktok account. I have an american SIM Card. I've adjusted the timezone, region, everything on the phone. Without proxy it just sets the region to my country and gives my country's fyp, but with the proxy it doesn't work either. The first ISP proxy I tried didn't work at all since tiktok detected it, and then the second one I tried, tiktok kept glitching and giving errors but I could make an account and scroll for a bit (I scrolled after 24+ hours) but then tiktok did ban the account. Tiktok easily detects the proxies so I'm confused on how I could make an US account? Has anyone figured it out?

TikTok is really strict about detecting location data so just using a SIM or proxy usually is not enough.

People who manage to make US accounts often combine a clean residential proxy with a fresh device or emulator and avoid mixing it with their real info or old accounts.

If anything looks mismatched TikTok flags it fast, so the setup has to look like a normal US user from day one.

You're doing it correctly, and I would say your issues are within the proxies themselves, being bad quality.

This is what I did:
1) Get a US apple ID- Create it on computer, doesn't matter on which browser and you don't need VPN. Confirm the Apple ID with YOUR OWN phone number. and ofc set the country to US.
2) Insert the US sim and reset the phone.
3) When reset, log in to the phone and you can choose the option that you log into the Apple ID later (after the phone setup). When you have done the setup, log in through settings or store.
4) In the meanwhile you can also turn off Bluetooth and Data. (don't think it really matters but just in case)
5) Then download tiktok WITHOUT vpn. Only US sim, and forget the proxy, you don't need it for this method. (I use Lyca, bought like 2yrs ago from Ebay)
6) After download you should see +1 code number (while trying to log in) if you have a good SIM. (for an example, I tried to reach UK with EE company sims from UK, these didn't work)
7) Create a new email from outlook or if you have a email which you can use, then use it.
8) Now comes the most important point. When you create the account and you can see the feed, you shouldn't see any of your country's content on FYP and Live.
9) Even more important - If you have done everything correctly then you shouldn't be able to like, comment, save and follow. This is completely normal as Tiktok wants to make sure that you are not a "bot". Just check with liking. If you like a video and you can't see the liked video under your "liked videos" section then you are good. If you can see it then you probably did something wrong.
10) Like only once. If you can see that your likes are not registering then don't like for 4-5 days. Don't engage in any way. Just scroll 30min a day. with 10min intervals. (you can set the 10min notification from the settings)
11) When you have waited for 4-5 days then you can try to like and see if it registers. If not, then wait more.

At the beginning of content posting I had some posts with Russian cities but I just kept posting until one video got 1.1m views with only US audience and engagement.

Best to not try to take shortcuts with tiktok. Make everything matches: US phone number, US IP, US Apple ID, etc.

I often see people claiming that they did get a US TikTok audience with a non-US IP, but I ask: Why risk it? And, if it does, it may not last.

Just go full effort, and do everything you can to establish your TikTok account as a proper US account, and you'll have the longevity to market your business long term.

If you're just posting short term slop to get viral views, then you should probably stop that and start a real business that generates ongoing value for the world.

Yes, I didnt need IP proxies while using SIM cards. Too complicated for me tbh. That's how I reached US audience. Everyone has their own methods. I am not sure if it works with e-sims too. You have to try that out. How i found this method is by just doing and trying different approaches.

TikTok is very good at detecting proxies, especially those from data centers or cheap internet service providers, which is often the reason why accounts are quickly flagged or blocked. In my experience, the most reliable method is to avoid proxies altogether and use real mobile connections linked to SIM cards instead. TikTok trusts this type of traffic much more because it looks organic. If you already have a US SIM card, the key is to make sure all your traffic actually goes through it (not just having it inside your phone). A dedicated device with a SIM-based connection works much better than trying to pair a proxy with your current setup. That way, you won't have to fight TikTok's proxy detection and you'll get the right FYP without constant glitches and blocks. Sometimes the SIM card isn't enough; you also need the device to be in the US.

The simcard you are using has to actually have a data plan. You cant suggest insert an empty simcard. Plus, you should have your wifi off, and only connected to 4G. That should get your location to the USA.

tiktok’s way sharper on geo than ig/x. sim + timezone alone won’t mask u if ip fingerprint looks off. most cheap proxies get flagged cause of datacenter ranges. ppl who farm us accs use legit residential/mobile proxies, 1:1 per device, aged hardware, and slow warmup (not fresh reg + instant scroll). glitch/ban = proxy footprint exposed. if u need real US fyp, u gotta invest in clean resi lines + device hygiene.

From now on, this is necessary and a requirement. Proxies and VPNs are already falling behind. Applications are increasingly secure and have ways of detecting them.

Hmm, they seem to be pretty new, almost no youtube videos etc. Are you affiliated?

a lot of people mention the same issue lately. TikTok seems to be tightening how new accounts and reposted content perform. Original content still does fine though. Try mixing in some fresh videos and keep things consistent, that usually brings the views back up.
