Cloaking Methods for Google and Facebook Ads?

I’ve been thinking about running high-risk offers on Google and Facebook but obviously don’t want accounts getting banned immediately. People talk about cloaking, but I’m not sure what works best for both platforms. Any tips for beginners on safe setups or how to start testing without losing accounts instantly?

Start small and never use your main accounts. Run clean, low-risk ads first to warm accounts, then test cloaking on burner accounts. Both Google and FB are quick to flag anything suspicious.

A bridge page or pre-lander is your best friend. Make the ad look fully compliant and send real traffic to the money page behind the scenes. Test thoroughly to make sure reviewers see only safe content.

Tracking is key. You need to separate reviewers from real users carefully. Without proper setup, even the best cloaking method can get accounts nuked.

Rotate domains and landing pages. Don’t use the same URL repeatedly across accounts—it’s one of the fastest ways to get flagged.

Always monitor ad performance. If CTR or conversion spikes unnaturally, it can raise red flags. Scale slowly and keep everything looking natural.

Everyone loves to act like cloaking is some magic Harry Potter invisibility cloak for Google and FB — buy a script, flip a switch, and suddenly your casino/crypto ads live forever. Yeah… no. If you jump in blind, your shiny new accounts will die faster than a meme page on Zuckerberg’s hitlist. The real “secret” isn’t just cloaking, it’s having aged/agency accounts, clean pre-landers that bots can swallow without choking, and the discipline to warm things up before you blast traffic. Treat it like an operation — separate stacks for Google vs. FB, unique billing, domains, IPs — or you’ll be back here posting “why my account banned?” in 48 hours. If you’d rather skip the trial-and-error and see how the pros keep things alive, feel free to DM.

Use an actual business (verified BM/MCC), legit promoting and reliable connection info.
Competition ad → pre-lander → offer just; no bait-and-switch.
Keep claims mild (no “definite”, thrilling before/after, or remedial/monetary promises).
Clean new domain, SSL, observable secrecy policy/interaction/refund info.
Start tiny ($5–$20/day), one geo and test creatives 3–7 days, scale slowly (≤30% daily).
Fix disapproved ads instead of hiding them; appeal with evidence if needed.
If vertical is restricted, use acquiescent angles (education/lead magnet) or professional networks.

Cloaking is one of those areas where everyone has their own “secret sauce,” but if you’re just starting out, the biggest thing is understanding risk management. No cloaking setup is 100% safe—FB and Google get smarter every day—so the real game is building an infrastructure that lets you test without burning your main resources.

A few things that help:
  • Always separate clean pages (for review) from your money pages.
  • Rotate domains and don’t recycle ones that get flagged.
  • Warm up accounts gradually instead of going straight in with aggressive campaigns.
  • Pay attention to hosting/IP footprints—sloppy setups get you banned fast.
On the account side, using a solid fingerprinting browser can save headaches. It keeps browser fingerprints and cookies isolated so your accounts don’t trip over each other, especially when you’re running multiple tests. Won’t make cloaking “safe,” but it definitely helps with account longevity.

If you’re a beginner, I’d suggest starting small with whitelisted offers, get used to managing multiple accounts, then gradually move into higher-risk cloaking setups once you understand the basics.

What type of high-risk offers were you thinking about running?
The cloaking method/approach you'll have to use will depend on how BH your niche is and what is actually is.

But the main elements remain the same.. like good ad accounts (should be old) + white page.

Start small with warmed-up accounts and quality landing pages. For cloaking, use trusted tools like RedTrack or Binom, but always test carefully. Run low-risk campaigns first to build trust before pushing high-risk offers.

I’ve had better luck with server-side cloaks than JS-based ones, though it’s definitely not foolproof on either platform

This is a great start OP. Running blackhat campaigns is not easy and definitely not cheap - you'll have lots of startup cost that could make or break your campaigns. Unless you're ready to throw money at it just to learn and test stuff out for long term, don't join in. Accounts are not cheap, one mistake and fb bans your account, probably bans your card as well and then you gotta start fresh again.

Definitely the case, JS stuff gets banned easier because simply it's a footprint like any safe page using cloaking will have to put some code in there and it's very easy to track that change or code snippet.

everyone talks about cloaking but truth is, if the ad account itself is weak it won’t matter. fb + google will burn fresh accs no matter what setup you run. what makes campaigns last is a solid base: strong/aged accounts, clean billing, then cloaker on top. without that foundation you’ll just keep losing accs

Thanks for sharing, I'll test this.

Running high-risk on Google/FB is always tricky. If you’re just starting, focus on solid warm-up (clean BM, aged accounts, proper billing, good landing page hygiene) before testing. Cloaking does exist but it’s risky—platforms catch on fast. Safer long-term play is strong setups + gradual scaling rather than trying to hide everything on day one.

For gambling ads that i run i use JCI, good aged accounts and proper warmup. Nowadays you need to warm up around 1-2 weeks before you launch anything BH related. You need a team and many many accounts honestly, solo its impossible.

Focus on gradual scaling using campaigns and landing pages that align with platform policies. Make sure your tracking setup is accurate and use early tests to validate your approach before expanding. Staying compliant gives you more stability in the long term.
