Why is the spending moving so slow?

Is anyone else noticing how painfully slow the spend is moving right now?
Ever since the recent outage, ad delivery feels throttled and budgets aren’t warming up like they used to.
Have you guys found any tricks to push the spend back up?
Traffic is tanking hard on my side because of this slowdown.

I'm experiencing the same slowdown on my side. If you come across a solution, would appreciate if you could share it

To fix slow spending errors, check your payment methods. If there are no problems, you can change your advertising account.

The previous suspension was because you temporarily stopped running ads, or because the system restricted the suspension of advertising?
If you stopped yourself, it won't affect anything. After a while, you can slowly increase your budget.
If it was because the account violated the system, your account was temporarily suspended from running ads. Now you can open ads but your spending is limited. At that time, you need to spend within the allowed budget limit. When the system feels that your account is no longer suspicious, your budget limit will increase. At this time, if necessary, you can use another advertising account to ensure the work as desired.

After outages, you should clone the ad set to create a new distribution Id, it will help reset Facebook's learning process, help the algorithm catch up quickly and stabilize spending again.

Interesting, I haven’t tried cloning the ad set after an outage. When you do this, do you keep the same budget and targeting, or do you adjust them as well?

Yes, many advertisers are seeing slower delivery since the outage. It seems to be a platform-side issue, so spend is ramping up much more gradually than before. No real “trick” fixes it usually it stabilizes once the system finishes recalibrating.

Yes, others are seeing it too delivery throttling after outages is common, and usually it’s tied to Facebook’s pacing system readjusting, so the best “tricks” are raising CTR signals (fresh creatives, broader audiences, CBO) or temporarily over-budgeting to force the algo to re-learn faster.

Yeah, delivery has been slow lately. Try testing new creatives, raising bids, or splitting campaigns into smaller budgets to force spend. Sometimes letting campaigns reset for a day or two also helps.

I also found that spending slowed down significantly after the outage. I tried adjusting the budget to increase it step by step, and spending caught up faster than leaving it at a fixed level.

You can create new campaigns, use new videos and content to help your ads distribute better, and you can also increase your bids a little bit, helping your campaign spend more.

Yeah, I’ve felt the same drag since the outage — spend feels like it’s crawling. Sometimes bumping bids or tweaking the ad set audience slightly helps unstick delivery, but it’s not consistent. Curious if anyone else has seen budgets “wake up” after making small changes vs. just waiting it out.

After the outage, slow delivery is normal — you can slightly increase budget/bid, expand your audience, change creatives, or create new ad sets to kick spending back up.

we can change the card or replace the fanpage using in the campaigns? I suggest that we should start with a small budget to warm up the accounts in advance

Many people are experiencing the same thing after the recent outage. Facebook is being more cautious with its distribution, which is slowing spending and not scaling as well as before. The temporary solution is to try splitting your budget into multiple campaigns, expanding your audience a bit, and giving the algorithm a few days to settle down.

It might happen when FB update new algorithms to their system. Or just from your side, like the target is small, budget is small as well. Or your account has no trust score (FB will prioritize accounts with high trust score)... there are many reasons for the slow spend

ok bro, let's take a look at comments in this post. Be slowly, trying test new campaigns, splitting your budget small. One thing I’d add is that it’s not just about new content, but also about the account’s overall history and trust. If you combine fresh creatives with a solid warm-up process and a healthy ad account, you’ll see much more stable results.

Yes, that's solid advice. I will try it. But what happen if I raise my bid a little and don't get the results I expected, spend more than profit. Increase my bids can also work, but I always balance it with testing different bidding strategies to avoid overspending too fast.

As long as you increase your budget significantly, I don't see my account spending slowing down.

To deal with slow delivery after an outage, you can temporarily increase your budget to force the algorithm to spend faster and improve your CTR by using fresh, engaging ad creatives. Furthermore, broadening your target audience and using CBO (Campaign Budget Optimization) are also effective ways to help the system relearn and speed up your campaign's delivery.
