Why Do Some Networks Flag Traffic Even When It Looks Clean?

Hey guys,


I’ve been testing a few offers lately and noticed something weird — even when the conversions look fine, some networks still push back and say it’s about “traffic quality.”


Stuff like: too many proxies, suspicious user agents, or even bot risk scores. The thing is, I’m using decent sources (mainly push + a bit of native), nothing shady, but still get flagged.


Is this just how strict some networks are these days?
Or am I missing some checks before sending traffic?


Curious if anyone here has tips on how to avoid getting flagged, or knows networks that give clearer feedback instead of just rejecting outright.

How much are we talking about here? You could use a tracker to track everything and test stuff and maybe even split the traffic to two networks and see who's shaving more. Also once you are tracking data, you can contact your traffic network rep with proof of questionable traffic quality.

For more transparent relations with your affiliate, I recommend using autologin.

In particular, it is important to clarify the availability of autologin during first integration, as well as to demonstrate metrics from Keitaro (for example) when requesting proof of live traffic.

One of the most compelling pieces of evidence is a unique click ID, a video recorded directly from the CRM system. Click IDs cannot be faked, and if you show the lead path, any adequate and decent network will accept it.

From my experience it’s not really about being new, it’s about how you present your traffic. Once I cleaned up my tracker settings, added a proper prelander, and cut out sketchy GEOs, I finally started getting accepted. There are some mid-tier networks that are way more newbie-friendly if you show them you’re serious
