Hello BHW community, lately i've been trying to reach a method that i can use to promote cpa/affiliate offers, i've seen people uploading pdf files on high DA websites which is .edu or .gov so after a long research i was able to upload my pdf file to a .gov website with a DA of 93 and i can index it within 6h but i still suffer from a problem that my files dosen't rank on google i tried everything writing a brand new pdf full with keywords and tried copying the competitors pdf also exacty the same with changing the title, anyway i tried many things but still my links gets indexed but not ranked on the keyword that im targeting or any keywords so if anyone can guide me or help me any information will be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Is your competitor's pdf already ranking? Because Google will only display a maximum of 2 results from a domain for a normal query. So if your competitor is ranking, it's doubtful another pdf on the same domain targeting the same keywords will be displayed as well.

You need to target multiple niches to rank with parasites on Google. It's difficult to rank exactly one pdf document no matter what you do. There are so many variables in Google algo and the trending parasite gets deleted before you figure it out. So, instead of chasing your competitors, focus on other keywords or variations or niches.

Nice work getting that .gov upload indexed so fast The reason it’s not ranking is usually authority distribution + on-page signals inside the PDF. Have you tested adding strong backlinks directly to the PDF URL and embedding it with contextual links on other high-trust pages? I’ve done similar with success happy to share my approach if you are open to connect. Thank you.

It would be better for the forum as a whole for you to share in the thread rather than solicit DM contact, as that can be misconstrued as attempting to sell.

thank you for your reply, yes my competitor are ranking with the same domain i will try to look for other domains or target another keywords which dosen't have competitor as a test for the method

thank you for your reply, yes that makes sense i will take that approach of trying to rank on mutiple pdfs and keywords to reach the goal of ranking on one of them

This is the main issue in parasite use - if one parasite domain is already ranking for a keyword, it's almost certain that another similar page on the same domain will not rank. Tiering can have an effect on this.

If i have two different websites that use different keywords is this an affective strategy

Consider converting your PDF content into an HTML page with internal links to improve rankings.

If the vector used to post content on the domain is by uploading a pdf file (usually through some sort of contact form), this isn't going to be possible.

Getting indexed isn’t enough, you also need link velocity and CTR signals. Just uploading PDFs alone doesn’t give much power, especially for fresh keywords.
