Today, it hit a new all-time high, testing 3546. Gold is currently stable and ready for buying.

Gold is like any other commodity, you can make money with it if you know what you are doing. Don't expect to become rich just because you think the price will continue to go up. It can as well go down.
The gold market can be manipulated, and there is no certainty on its supply.
Plus, it has a plethora of disadvantages as a "reserve currency" compared to Bitcoin.
This is one of the many reasons:

The gold market can be manipulated, and there is no certainty on its supply.
This happens everywhere and all the time. Unfortunately, we do not have access to information about all these manipulations.

This week, another historical high of 3707 was reached, after which the price began to fall to 3625. But the bulls seem to be set on further growth.

Let's bust the myth "you always need the same amount of gold to buy an average house":

United States median home

  • 1985: median price ≈ $82,800
    Gold ≈ $327/oz
    7.9 kg
  • 1999: median price ≈ $157,400
    Gold ≈ $290.25/oz
    16.9 kg
  • 2025: median price ≈ $415,000
    Gold ≈ $3,715.56/oz
    3.5 kg
If you buy 3.5kg of gold today, will it be sufficient for buying a house in 2035?

Gold. Historical highs have been updated.
Gold is a metal that is not so much on Earth, so it is considered precious and has been appreciated at all times. It is considered a good option for investing and saving your funds. This year, the price of it has constantly updated historical highs. Just like Bitcoin. But, unlike it, it can always be held in your hands, which causes more trust than the blockchain. I assume that the price of it may continue to grow. On the other hand, no one can say for sure whether this growth will continue. What do you think about this?
Gold smashing highs isn’t just hype central banks hoarding it + shaky fiat trust fuels the move. Unlike BTC, it’s boring but reliable wealth insurance you can touch (that psychology matters more than ppl admit). Out of the box? Think less about charts, more about how governments quietly treat gold as their Plan B balance sheet.

Let's bust the myth "you always need the same amount of gold to buy an average house":
Perhaps this was the case in the Middle Ages or earlier? When gold was relatively scarce and its price was stable. Although who at that time could have known the price of gold and set it? There were no central banks.

I think gold will always be a good investment. It’s probably the second most efficient store of value on the planet, so it’s a good buy.

Yesterday, the historical maximum was updated again. On the one hand, there is a visible trend, but on the other hand, it is already somewhat dangerous to buy. What if this is the peak?

Only invest for the long term. If you want some quick wins then I agree with you gold probably isn’t the right option just now.

In the long term, this could prove even more dangerous. Gold has been rising in price all year, but this cannot continue indefinitely. It could turn out the same way as with Bitcoin in its time.

A new updated historical maximum.
Bitcoin begins to nervously smoke on the sidelines.

Next week, more than 4k

Yesterday saw the biggest price drop since the end of July.
Today is NFP, let's see how the price reacts. I expect it to exceed 4k.
