Anyone have success? Can you share how I might compose my email for my marketing services to local businesses? I know it's a grind and I get leads through my GBP and organic results. Just looking for another way to bring in more business. Thanks

Cold emailing doesn't work. It doesn't matter how you compose your email. Nobody will read it.

keep it short and personal: introduce yourself, mention you’ve helped similar local businesses, highlight one clear benefit, and end with a simple call to chat or meet.

Definately work but its a grind indeed. Keep trying till you find th erigh audience and scale. I am personally trying it the past months and gets better the more persistent I am.

I think so too. It does work if you can scale it up, but the headache is not worth it in my opinion. There are much more effective ways of earning if one could arrange the required hardware and expertise.

You can use ChatGPT to create something personalized to the service you offer and people you're reaching out to.

Let it generate different versions then pick one or two you like best and edit them for A/B testing... add your own personal touch and remove any AI words or phrases that people can spot from mile away

And yeah it’s absolutely a numbers game but don’t let that be an excuse for lazy outreach which is what most people end up doing.

Simple things like saying “Hi Name” mentioning the prospect’s company or including something personal go a long way

It doesn’t guarantee a reply but it gives you a better chance and since email outreach is still one of the cheapest ways to get clients it’s worth putting in a bit of effort to make it feel personal for each person you’re reaching out to

Cold email can work if done right. Keep it short, focus on the value you bring, and personalize it for each business — no generic templates. Offer a quick win instead of a hard sell.
