What’s the latest for 2025 and which distributor do you guys go for?

Strict with farming:
Cdbaby
Amuse
Tunecore

Slow in upload:
Routenote

Best but they are closed:
WorIdstar

I’m trying to get one that does automated machine QC (Like DlSTROKlD and WorIdstar) so you can put out shitty songs without getting flagged. As long as you stay below radar, DSP doesn’t spot anything, you’re safe.

I manage to draw 4000 a month a few times

There are plenty of india distributor and I wonder if they just push songs out. Some of these distributors looks so sus and i suspect that they themselves are farming.

for 2025, cdbaby, amuse, and tunecore are strict but reliable. routenote is slower but more flexible. if you want quick uploads with minimal checks, some smaller or regional distributors push tracks fast, but the risk of flags or farming is higher. quality always matters if you want long-term stability.

which small regional distributors push out fast?

the risk of flags are always high no matter which distributor you are on. cdbaby/amuse/tunecore all run internal QC, so even if DSP doesn’t flag, they themselves may have flagged something.

but yeah these smaller distributors may just take our royalties and run off.

i was with worIdstar and they are basically a farm. cheap and just churning out songs, no QC, instant approval, zero issues with payout but sadly they have closed.

just trying to see what other good ones are left….

Indian distributors are cheap but I’ve noticed delays and random rejections sometimes.

LANDR and Symphonic work on the same principle as distrokid you can have several accounts however pay attention to the fingerprint and do not remove all the accounts at the same time

I’ve been using DistroKid for a while now, mainly because it’s fast and pretty straightforward. Before that I tried Routenote, but the upload times were painfully slow. I’ve also heard some good feedback about Amuse, but haven’t tested it myself yet.


Honestly, I don’t think any platform is completely safe if you’re pushing low-quality tracks. Some let things slip through more easily, but eventually DSPs catch patterns if you go too hard. Keeping it a bit balanced seems to be the key.
