Now days i face this issue my created backlinks not apear in the SEMrush tool
and client check backlinks status in semrush tool
we create 200 backlinks but if i check status after one month in the SEMrush only 10-20% backilnks found

so please give solution on this how to improve backilnks in the SEMrush tool.

If these are backlinks on 3rd party sites, fire off some blog comments pointing to the links as a tier, that's an easy way to get Ahrefsbot/Semrushbot to show up. If they're on your own sites, a PBN for instance, work on the internal linking some more, or look at using the IndexNow protocol for Ahrefs: https://ahrefs.com/index-now

SEMrush often underreports, patience and quality links over quantity usually work best.

Semrush doesn’t catch every backlink, especially new or low-authority ones. to improve visibility, focus on getting links from indexed, high-quality sites and submit your urls to google. also, use multiple tools like ahrefs or majestic to track backlinks more reliably.

I find the opposite TBH, Semrush reports all sorts of rubbish - spidered SERPs, domain lists, logs from mailing lists etc. Filtering the chaff out would not look so good in their stats though.

Totally not what the OP is asking for.

SEMrush doesn't show all backlinks right away. It can take time to detect them, especially if the sites are low authority or not indexed by Google yet. To improve this, make sure your backlinks are on quality sites, indexed in Google, and you can also upload your backlink list manually in SEMrush using the Backlink Audit tool.

Make sure your backlinks are on indexed pages, SEMrush only tracks live/accessible links.

Tell the client to check for links using Google Search Console, not third-party SEO services.
Also, always provide the client with a list of URLs where you've added links.
P.S. To ensure your links are indexed faster, use indexing services (there are plenty of them, and they usually cost next to nothing).

to improve backlink status in Semrush and Ahrefs, analyze competitor profiles
using the Backlink Gap tool (Semrush) and Site Explorer (Ahrefs) to identify
missing, high-authority links

Why only 10–20% show?

If you’re building 200 links and only 20–40 appear:

  • Many may not be indexed.
  • Some platforms block SEO crawlers.
  • Some pages may have been removed.
  • Some links may be nofollow or dynamically generated.

Building on the idea of improving real link profiles, I've found that focusing on acquiring links from topically relevant domains with high Majestic Trust Flow significantly boosts backlink status. In a recent test, I acquired 15 links from domains with Trust Flow above 20, and within 6 weeks, the target site's Ahrefs Domain Rating increased by 7 points, while SEMrush's Authority Score jumped 12 points. Additionally, using a private blog network with aged domains to host these links can further accelerate indexing and increase the link equity passed to the target site, with an average indexing rate of 85% within 14 days.
