Guest posts aren’t dead. The issue is people spamming them on the same networks.

I focus on:
Niche sites with real traffic
Unique, relevant articles optimized well for AI overviews
No obvious footprints

When done right, a solid guest post still beats most “quick win” tactics.

Are you still seeing good results with guest posts, or have you shifted to other link building methods?

Guest posts still bring value, but you should focus only on trusted, authority sites where traffic and relevance are strong.

Random links don’t work anymore.

Of course, guest posting is one of the most famous methods to elevate your brand value. But nowadays, there are so many factors to evaluate the quality of blogs. I still believe it's a powerful method

I agree guest posts still work well when placed on real niche sites with traffic. The problem only shows up when people use the same networks over and over. Mixing them with other methods like niche edits or digital PR usually brings the best results.

Yeah you said right! Guest post will still works good when it done correctly. Doing guest post with the relevant niche and with good quality content is still working correctly.

Guest posts definitely still work, but it’s really about where you post. Stick to trusted, relevant sites that get real traffic random links just don’t cut it anymore. When you do it right, guest posting can boost your SEO and make your brand look credible. Basically, focus on real sites with real audiences, and you’ll see the results.

Guest posting is still effective, but the focus should be on high-authority, relevant sites that have real traffic and credibility.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, everyone.

I agree that authority & relevance are key. Out of curiosity, when you’re vetting a site, do you put more weight on traffic metrics or on the site’s topical fit?

As said, it’s definitely still one of the strongest methods when done right. You mentioned “so many factors to evaluate.” What’s the one filter you never compromise on when picking a blog for guest posting?

Nice. Mixing guest posts with niche edits and PR really balances the profile. Which combo have you found gives the most consistent long term results?

Right. Also, do you usually write guest posts more for link equity or do you also optimize them to pull in direct referral traffic?

Yeah, trusted, real sites with audiences make all the difference. When you’re analyzing traffic, do you check just the volume, or do you dig into the quality (geo, keywords, engagement, etc.)?

Credibility of the site is huge. Have you noticed if guest posts on medium DR sites with strong niche relevance sometimes outperform big authority sites in terms of SEO impact?

How much you pay for these guest posts ?

The cost really depends on the niche, site quality, and traffic. I tend to prioritize relevance and clean sites rather than chasing the cheapest options.
