Just saw the news that verified Meta users will now have search optimization, so accounts will appear at the top of search results.

IMO, it's a long time coming! Why didn't they offer it as an incentive before?

I get you. Honestly, it makes sense they finally added search optimization because that’s what creators actually want—visibility. It feels like they delayed it on purpose, maybe to build up hype or keep the badge looking more like a status thing at first. Now it’s shifting into something useful, where having verification actually helps you grow instead of just looking good.​

yes rachelle1 , it is kind of wild it took them this long because visibility is what creators actually care about.
They probably wanted to make the badge feel more like status before adding real perks.
Now it finally gives people a reason to pay beyond just showing off a checkmark.
