Reddit fingerprint issues (karma farming)

Hey guys, I've been testing lately with different methods and wanted to hear your opinion on farming accounts on a bit of a higher volume.

I've been running things on JB devices with Crane and mobile proxies, rotating the IP before each session on the accounts, but it also happed that on one of the phones to experiment a chainban, most probably regarding a fingerprint issue that Reddit detected.

Would you think that the phone is not completely flagged? The conclusion is that Crane does not fully sepparates the Reddit apps and still shares the fingerprint of the phone.

Ever experienced that? Would you consider farming on the phone but on the brwoser and not the app? Or use a tweak like 361Multi?

Yeah, that’s definitely a fingerprinting issue. The Reddit app often leaks device info browser farming with clean proxies is usually much safer.

Sounds like a fingerprint overlap issue more than just the IP. Reddit is super sensitive to app level signals and if Crane isn’t fully isolating each instance the accs can get chained together.

Rotating IP alone won’t fix fingerprint issues if the device signals match.

Definitely a fingerprint leak issue more so than proxies. Reddit is super sensitive to hardware/browser level signals so if Crane isn’t fully isolating chain bans can happen even with clean IPs.

I've tested 361 and had the same issue on that specific phone. However, I need to say that I did not factory reset the phone before implementing 361 and I also had the crane containers still on the phone, so maybe that had an impact. I will test one more time, factory resetting the phone and only having 361 on it, thank you

I think there are some public ones. I am using my own (custom one a i paid a dev to make our team).

Yeah, looks more like a fingerprint leak than just IP. Even with clean proxies, Reddit can still link accounts if device/browser signals match. Some people switch to browser farming or use anti-detect browsers like Multilogin to split things better.

Avoid evasion tactics, try building a small team to post genuine value and rotate tasks manually.
