Hello everyone. I have a small audience (posts are viewed 25-30k times per month), the audience is mainly US, UK, Canada. The topic is startups and new technologies. I am not in countries where you can monetize views directly when Meta itself pays you. Does it make sense to develop this account (I can increase views by 2-3 times) to sell paid posts? I am interested in your experience, if you earn on Threads, and what topics do you have? Or have you only had negative experiences, tell us about them?

Even if you are not making money on it currently, keep adding content there regular and grow it. I am sure they will launch some program in future to promote posting there. They have done it on Facebook, Instagram in different ways in past.

If your account already has a loyal audience in a specific niche, I think you should keep building it or even expand further — good traffic has a very high chance of generating income. I don’t have a concrete idea right now, but for example, on Instagram I once spent a few hundred dollars just to advertise my product on a personal page that posted dog and cat meme videos, and the conversions were actually quite good.

Threads is dead, I really don't see the platform going anywhere over the next few years. It failed in spite of having an entire arsenal of meta platforms trying to shove it down everyones throats, and it's now in a slow decline.

Yeah, it’s worth growing. A US/UK tech audience has solid value for sponsored posts and collabs even without Meta payouts. Keep building engagement, brands care more about niche relevance than follower count.

Threads is good for those who want to add written posts to get more exposure. However, if you plan on doing outreach on there, you may need to look into a slightly way that can allow you to send more messages without getting spam flagged. Other than that, it should be fine.
