Did you have a good relationship or communicate with him at all? I would really like to have a better understanding of why he decided to ban and scam a heap of users for no reason. I heard that an advertiser dropped him and didn't pay but I don't know if that's true.

yeah....we have had friendly chats on messenger, sent across many emails etc.
sometimes he used to take several days to respond to emails. I just assumed the guy to be very very lazy. But he always responded. He has paid me several times but there are enough reports on digitalpoint of them not being paid too even earlier when he first started off.
I'm sure it has nothing to do with advertisers not paying him off. He's just plain scamming his publishers.
I'm owed for may, june and 6 days of july. I was getting paid net30 and there were some people getting paid net15 too. So I'm sure his advertisers were paying him end of the month or net15 at most. Which means if the advertisers weren't paying, he would have caught on to it on 15th june at the latest. However, he never gave me even an inkling about any payment problems at all. On the contrary, when june 30 arrived I sent him a mail about payment for may and he replied sounding very upbeat and even suggesting that my EPCs are going to jump hugely and that I shd send even more traffic! I didn't get any payment till 6th of July and sent him several mails with no replies. Finally some sense dawned and I quit promoting him. My account was active till almost the end of july after which I couldn't login.
I kept pestering him on FB and finally got a reply with a curt and lame 'advertisers screwed me'. Nonsense! I'm not buying that!

He's Israeli and stays at Israel most of the time. But his company is based in Canada.

Well why don't you guys all team up. If there are that many of you that have been screwed over it then you guys should seriously do something about it. Get in touch with an ecommerce lawyer and have them send a collection letter as a first step.
