At that scale you’ll need solid automation regardless of which setup you choose.

Managing 2000 Reddit accounts reliably is costly either way. Antidetect browsers + rotating 4G proxies are easier to scale and manage but have ongoing proxy/browser costs. Jailbroken Android + SIM rotation can be cheaper long-term but requires heavy setup, maintenance, and custom automation.​

I talked to a guy who managed around a dozen reddit accounts. He used either proxies or a VPN, I cant remember which, but he said he always uses the same IP when logging into each account, and that each account would have a dedicated IP. I'm not sure if he was using sticky residential/mobile IPs or what / how he actually managed it. I cant imagine that he used a typical VPN.

He also said not to use a privacy browser. Or perhaps a standalone browser that deletes sessions upon exit is ok, because he also said that Reddit pays attention to cookies and tracking. Basically it looks suspicious if your browser doesnt have any record at all of previously viewed websites, so he would go to google and other random websites before he logged into reddit to make it look like theres some activity there.

I haven't actually gone through those steps yet but I expect to do this soon.

I may consider hiring a developer to create some kind of orchestration system for this if it doesnt already exist. Please PM me if anyone is aware of options.

I think using a jailbroken Android phone + automation software + 4G sim is a method worth trying, because I have tested using Antidetect browser + 4G proxy and it does not work in the current environment.

Use jailbroken iPhones, with solid tweaks setup for device spoof so Reddit can't detect that you are running all 100 acc's on the same iPhone. If you are interested feel free to reach on TG-BunnyOF we can talk more.

For 2K Reddit accounts, 4G proxies + antidetect browsers are cheaper but risk flags if behavior overlaps. Jailbroken Androids with 4G SIMs are much safer but costly to scale. You can try the following: bulk low-risk actions on browsers, high-value posts on real devices.

because reddit is too strict, you can't just run a large number of accounts recklessly. it's best to combine an antidetect browser with human-like behavior, don't rush the warm-up. take it slow—read posts, upvote, then start commenting in your niche.

I ran an ADB anti detect browser + rotating residential proxy setup for a while and it stopped working last year.

At the height I has 2,000 accounts on this setup. I currently have 1,200 browsers on the same setup. 20 reddit accounts are still live and actively used. It seems that those 20 just have good browser fingerprints and they slipped through the cracks, those are an anomaly and not a good enough ratio to run an operation and team payroll on. After ADB stopped working, I tried a bunch of things, got hundreds of (mostly in-house built) accounts banned and I tried warming up the browser for several days before going to reddit and once on reddit doing nothing (no upvotes/comments/posts) for 2-4 weeks and as soon as you upvoted or commented after a month of warm up the account got banned. IDK, I guess other people are figuring out how to run ADB in here, I could not.

Over the years, I've bought and built from scratch thousands of accounts, no automation ever, just a team.

Last year I was building an automation bot, was very close to having it finished and then Reddit put a stop to all basic setups, basic as in selenium/playwrite type setups, that does not work anymore. Automation can be done, but your setup has to be all custom coded (like how the top upvote vendors are doing).

I think ADB are over for Reddit.

I think if you get them to work, they are very fragile. Your whole operation is on thin ice, it seems to me from my experience and understanding of all this.

I read in here people that still say ADB are working for them, I bet you can get them to work with finding the right browser fingerprint and proxy, until Reddit finds a way to block it.

No hate, all respect but... I always see a lot of comments in all the reddit post about this topic (not just here) saying "oh just do this" automation this, anti detect browser that, oh that will work just do that. Is automation and/or anti detect browsers really working for you?! How many accounts are you running? Don't say stuff unless you really do know from experience.

To answer your question OP

ADB
- crack the code to browser fingerprint and the right proxy, lots of trial/error
- I would recommend a team over automation, automation will cost a solid 5 figures on the cheap end but probably well into 6 figures for an advanced dev to custom built it. Maybe R&D into automation but from the profits of the team operations
- 2,000 accounts would be better built from scratch from 1 browser during entire account life, you will need a team so you might as well have them built the accounts instead of rolling the dice on vendors, vendors add another factor in it (when account gets banned, was it because of the vendor [or proxy, browser, warm up]?)

Phones
- start small
- 2,000 accounts will not be cheap, at that scale it is probably not safe to run it out of a home (electrical limits, fire hazards, temperature control, etc.) so something like a data center with $1,500/mo. per rack rental that fits about 300 phones per rack would be realistic, where network engineers at $100/hr. can do setup and maintenance work on the phones.
