Just further proof that this entire site is not run by AI bots. They are ruining people's livelihoods based on what some automated system decides to do on a particular day. And they will continue to fire more staff as they rely on automation. It has never been less reliable to make money online. Chat support and even Partner Managers are increasingly less useful as the decisions are just outsourced to AI. The AI is now above the staff. Whoever they haven't fired yet it's probably to meet quotas like DEI hires and whatnot. The future is bleak. I know so many people that has had their channels demonetized for straight bs in the past 2 years, even big established accounts, and there's no way to get any actual humans to give you any real help, and if you manage to find someone, they will not explain anything reasonable. It's all a waste of time.

Relying so heavily on AI moderation definitely leaves too many false positives. Unless YouTube invests in real human review again, it’s only going to push more people to diversify their income outside the platform.

Youtube is dumb for relying on a half developed Ai, too many false flags, many channels getting de-monetized, having revenue cuts and even shadow banned for absolutely doing nothing wrong. That is because the Ai is still in its learning phase, but like you said....it affects the creators, youtube is also losing a ton of creators to other platforms like kick, twitch and etc, so probably they may either make the Ai perfect or hire back some humans which is highly unlikely because the Ai is going to be perfected to become better and more efficient than humans in a while, but until then this is going to be a problem

If the reason doesn't apply to you, you can have it manually reviewed. Youtube can usually (9 out of 10 times) reverse demonetisations like that if it confirms no community guideline violation.

Unfortunately this is untrue and it is very difficult to get a single "member" of support to read the first sentence of a support email.

Had a YouTube channel that YouTube took down that was monetized. They not only doubled, triped but quadripled down on my removal when I didn't violate any community guidelines. Support in general at social media platforms are so fucking shit now.

Looks like it varies from person to person, or rather Youtube still isn't somehow geared to support individuals who aren't backed by corporations. Youtube still operates the old fashioned way in that sense where an issue of copyrights and fair use (or guideline violations) gets sorted out through calls or emails between our suits and theirs (or whoever relevant body needs to be discussed with).

Even the support from Google is now through AI ? At least , that should be done with humans so as to give correct responses as per the situation .

YouTube ignores most of what is being sent to them by other creators. You see it all other the place on X with their automated replies where they don't even reply with anything remotely helpful for the person asking for help. This includes problems with copyright, channel shutdowns such as myself, abuse on the platform, crimes, hacked accounts and scams. It's ridiculous and even companies have trouble getting in touch with Google/YouTube about it.

The 9/10 you provided is more like a 0.001/10.
