How are some users able to add links in youtube comments?

I have seen that in some YouTube comments, users are able to add links. How are they doing it?

Youtube's always allowed links, just that usually they filter them out and most don't get through. Sometimes the channel owner also filters out possible URL linking so there's that.

people can copy the comment text, remove it and replace it with what the creator asked. For example: https:// www.google .com/ (remove the spaces), and so you remove those and it works

usually they do it by having enough account age or channel trust, or sometimes by posting in pinned comment sections that allow links. newer accounts often can’t.

some users can post links because their accounts are older or trusted, or they’re commenting on channels that allow it; new accounts usually can’t.

In a YouTube comment, you can't create a hyperlink with clickable text. However, if you simply paste a full URL that starts with https:// (like https://www.google.com/), YouTube will automatically make it a clickable link.


Keep in mind that some creators have settings that automatically hold all comments with links for review, so your comment might not appear immediately.

You mentioned you seen links, have you ever tried to just copy and paste the same thing, I mean literally?
Coz if you do it, you will see it works and from that moment you can reverse engeneer the process once you understand you just paste the active clickable link.
