It’s been 30 days since I created my website. I’ve built multiple websites before, and usually, even if they don’t show up in the search rankings right away, within a day or two I could at least see in Google Search Console that certain keywords briefly appeared in the rankings. But this time, no keywords are being generated at all. Why is that? If I work on building backlinks, is it possible for new keywords to appear?

For a brand-new site, it’s normal to see delayed keyword data in Search Console sometimes it takes several weeks for Google to start ranking pages.
Backlinks can help Google discover your pages faster, but keyword appearance also depends on content relevance and site authority.
Focus on high-quality content, internal linking, and gradual backlink building; rankings and keyword data should start showing over time.

Create content instead of building backlinks. Your website is still very new, what it needs is more content that covers your topic and interlinking between them, massive backlinks.

Google’s a lot stricter with fresh domains now. A month without keyword impressions isn’t rare, especially if the site has no links or history. Make sure your sitemap is submitted, content is original, and the site is crawlable. A few quality backlinks will usually speed things up and help keywords start showing.
