I am very worried about one thing.

I make videos about history. But I have not got very good results. It has been 1 month. But my target is USA, UK. But give me some ideas. Should I make a video about history from 600 AD to 1200 AD? Or should I make a video about history from 1200 to 1800? Which year of history will USA, UK viewers like?
Find out what people are most interested in and make videos about that. Or copy people who've made videos about interesting history and try improve it or add a distinct twist.

Great question. For US/UK audiences, you’re more likely to get views focusing on:

  • 1200–1800 AD — especially topics like the Tudors, American Revolution, Colonialism, Renaissance, Enlightenment, and early industrial era.
  • Add strong narratives (e.g. “How X Changed the World”) and relatable conflicts or turning points.
  • Try “What if” or “Little known facts about…” titles — they perform well.

The 600–1200 era can work too, but needs a strong hook (e.g. Vikings, Crusades, or Islamic Golden Age).
One of my very favorite shows of that time period was the Tudors. Fantastic history, really awesome.

For USA and UK audiences, focus on 1200–1800. Key periods like the Renaissance, colonial history, and the early modern era get more interest than early medieval history (600–1200).
