Slow spending, what should I do?

Slow to spend, results are delayed in appearing and crazy high CPR? Is any new setting for cheaper CPR in 2025?
In 2025 ad costs dropped a bit in some regions, but results can still be delayed due to platform learning phase.
Try Advantage+ campaigns on Meta, they usually give cheaper CPR by letting the algorithm auto-optimize.
Carousel ads and Reels placements are currently performing cheaper than single-image ads.
Test multiple creatives fast—good creatives lower CPR more than changing settings alone

The reason comes from the quality of the advertising account, most accounts tend to spend very slowly, I think it is an ad blocking error from FB.

Set up more campaigns, create an additional campaign that interacts with the page so that the ad is delivered faster.

This year is tough, you need to optimize your goals, or you can save money by using credit accounts, with thresholds, or find someone to pay for you and give you a discount.

Test Advantage+ Campaign (ASC) -> distribute information, often reducing CPR compared to manual.

Sometimes campaigns just need more time to optimize, especially if you’re testing new audiences. Try narrowing your targeting or adjusting creatives to improve relevance and lower CPR. Also worth experimenting with bidding strategies since small tweaks can make a big difference.

it seems like the algorithm needs more time to learn in the early stages, so letting it run with a bit of a higher budget initially can help speed things up and get the CPR down

I wouldn't jump to conclusions. Facebook can either delay spending or use up most of the budget in an hour in the morning without any results... And all of this is normal.

Hi there! Those delayed results and high CPR issues are definitely common in 2025! Facebook's algorithm needs more time to optimize now. Try these new settings: in Ads Manager → "Campaign Setup" → enable "Advantage+ Audience" (replaces detailed targeting) and "Advantage+ Placements" for better cost efficiency.

Switch to "Cost per Result Goal" bidding instead of lowest cost - this often reduces CPR by 20-30%. Give campaigns at least 7 days before making changes, as Facebook's learning phase takes longer now.

Also check "Account Quality" → make sure no policy issues are slowing delivery. Use broader audiences (2M+ people) and let Facebook's AI optimize rather than micro-managing.

I've seen CPR drop significantly with these 2025 updates when given proper time to learn.

What's your current learning phase showing in Ads Manager, and have you tried the new Advantage+ audience settings yet?

You should Create smaller audiences based on age, interests, or behaviors to target the right potential audience. Find people who are similar to your current customers to expand your reach effectively. You should Invest in high-quality images and videos with clear and compelling messaging. Test different ad formats to determine which content attracts more clicks and engagement.

Slow ad spend, delayed results, and unusually high cost per result are often due to a learning distribution system or high competition. There are currently no specific new settings for lower CPR in 2025, but you should test multiple small ad sets with different audiences to find the most effective ones.

Hard to tell because we give account had already spend 100k but can't spend with new campaign. High trusted account with verified BM is what we gave for customer. Changing new BM, new Pixel but nothing changes
