This will likely be a bit of a long post, so appreciate anyone that reads it all. Bit of background, I have ran an OnlyFans management agency for the past 2-3 years with pretty good success, we have a good client acquisition strategy (around 5 models per week on average), we have good marketing systems in place that can get a lot of paid subs per day and have good chatting, overall pretty successful.
Around March this year we became aware of a fairly overpowered TikTok strategy, not because it necessarily gets huge views (around 1-5million views a week), but because of how simple it is, almost entirely independent of the model. We control the content, editing, and posting, which removes the unreliability that comes with relying on models. Running this strategy on personal phones in our local office has been consistently successful, so since around April/May we have tried many things to scale and outsource the work, this is where the problems began. The primary goal was to get VA's posting these TikToks for us as we want to be able to run hundreds of accounts, and that would be very time consuming if we did it in house.
So firstly we can't do this on TikTok desktop or website, because the strategy includes slideshows which cant be posted from a laptop or PC. The first thing we tried was using platforms like Postpone and Later, we noticed 2 issues with this, 1 was that sounds are random, and 2 was that are views decreased drastically. Like I said from phones we would average around 1-5m views per week per account, with Postpone and Later we were averaging around 30-50k per week per account, huge drop off. Not sure what causes this, maybe the fact its being posted through an API? Not sure, either way we had to search for something else.
The second thing we tried was buying a GliNet Wifi Router, putting a VPN on it and posting like that. We had tried posting with a VPN on before and had reduced views, so we assumed it was because TikTok could see we was on a VPN which is why we bought the GliNet router, the plan was to send phones and these Wifi routers to our office in the Philippines where our VA's could then post the TikTok's while still hitting UK/US traffic. We did this, both on a genuine in the UK set up and we sent one to a VA in the Philippines, all accounts were again capped out at around 50k views a week, with the odd video going above 10k views however this was rare, so again this didn't work, I assume they could still tell we was on VPN's.
Third thing we tried was an app cloner, we spent $1200 for a premium plan on the android app cloner app which allows TikTok, we then configured it with a bunch of settings, a US proxy etc. Plan again was for VA's to be sent a phone with all of this configured for them so that they can operate it from the Philippines. We kept getting a 'Too many attempts, try again later' error on multiple different phones, we managed to make an account on one phone but the views were massively tanked. Not sure if this was the proxy, the app cloner, or the phones. We were using AnyIP and IPRoyal proxies and primarily Google Pixels which were recommended to us.
We also briefly tried to root an android and spoof the location and add a proxy however had similar results as above.
Currently we are out of ideas, we have spent thousands on phones, around 1-2k on proxies, and more importantly a lot of time and we feel like we are no closer to the original goal. Out of everything we do, we assumed this would be one of the easiest, but TikTok is really making it a nightmare for us. I'm not sure what we are doing wrong, it could be that basics or missed or maybe there is a much simpler go to method that we aren't using, but any help on this would be very appreciated.
