Facebook Profile Permanently Disabled

disabling an existing tag only pauses the campaign. When you add a new tag, the campaign will resume.

If your profile is permanently disabled and you're the only admin, unfortunately you won’t be able to access the Business Portfolio or stop the ads directly. You can try contacting your bank to block the card to prevent further charges. For future safety, always assign a backup admin to critical assets.

If you’ve lost access to your Business Manager and can’t stop running ads:
  1. Contact Meta Support ASAP to try recovering access via Meta Business Help.
  2. If recovery fails, block the current credit card to stop billing.
  3. Create a new Business Manager and ad account using a new payment method.
Unfortunately, if you're the only admin and access is gone, recovery is tough—starting fresh is often the only option.

sure to make sure there is no risk .you should create a new card and cancel the old one as well as create a new category with increase the number of managers to avoid repeating the error

fb trippin hard. if u locked out n ads still running, best move is kill the card so they can’t charge u more. then try recover access later or start fresh if it’s dead dead

by another blue verified account contact to support team by chat...yes there is chat for blue verified account holders and tell my personal account (username) is disabled pls take a look and the account will be back with in 2 3 days...Tested 3 days ago and brought back 10 plus accounts this month

Normally, in your profile, there will be a support button to regain access to the business and use it normally
Or at least you can ask them to help you delete the card link so you don't have to make a new card
If you can't contact them, then yes, lock the old card and create a new one

Instead of disabling the card immediately, you can contact the FB team to manually stop advertising instead of disabling the credit card immediately.

If the profile is disabled and no one else has access, stopping the ads from your side might be tricky. You could try contacting support or updating the payment method, but results vary.

I have a facebook profile that I have a business portfolio to manage my ads. I was the only one in that business portfolio. Now I cannot access the ads that are currently running and I cannot stop them. Should I just get a new credit card and disable the current credit card that was attached to that business portfolio or is there a way to fix this?
You can hire professionals to unlock it, but first you need to close the credit card.

If no one else has access to the Business Portfolio, you might not be able to manage or stop the ads. In this case, contacting Facebook support directly is the safest step. Using a new card could stop charges, but won't give you account access back.

If you’ve lost access to the Business Manager and can’t stop the ads, first try to recover access via Facebook Support. If that fails and you’re the only admin, contacting your bank to block or replace the credit card is a practical way to stop further charges.

Sometimes logging back into your Facebook account can help restore access. Check to see if you can access it from another device or browser. If you've lost access, check to see if there's an account recovery option in your Facebook settings.

If you can’t access your Facebook business account to stop the ads, canceling or blocking the current credit card might be the quickest way to stop the charges. At the same time, you could try reaching out to Facebook support to see if they can help recover your account or transfer access. But in the meantime, changing the payment method is a good move to prevent unwanted charges.

Hi there! Don't panic - changing your credit card without fixing the Business Manager access could create bigger issues! Try these steps first: go to business.facebook.com → check if you can still log in. If yes, go to "Payment Settings" and see if cards are still connected.

If you're completely locked out, try logging in through a different browser/device. Sometimes it's just a temporary glitch. Check your email for any notifications about account restrictions.

Before canceling your card, try submitting a Business Manager support case at business.facebook.com/help → "Contact Support." Include your Business Manager ID and explain the access issue.

I've seen many cases resolved within 24-48 hours this way, avoiding the payment complications that come with card changes.

How long have you been locked out, and do you remember receiving any policy violation emails recently?

disabling your credit card is the most reliable way to stop ad spend if you can't access your account, but you should also contact Meta support immediately to try and regain access. they may be able to help you either get back into your account or stop the ads on their end, which is the best longterm solution

I recommend that you do not just block the credit card because it will easily generate debt and affect the payment history.
The best solution is to work directly with Facebook to regain access or transfer the campaign to another account/BM with high trust to continue running safely.

1st block your card just to stop charges, 2nd get in touch with Facebook. Sometimes they can even refund partial amount charged for ads if you can prove what happened.
