Fake Giveways?

Hi,
As many of you know, on social media, there are many influencers or companies that run huge giveaways (20-30k in prizes). Looking at their numbers, I find it unsustainable to run these giveaways. So, are they running fake giveaways?

So how do they do it? Why do they post the winners' @s in Stories? Could it be that they buy Instagram accounts and use them for giveaways, constantly changing their usernames? If so, where do they buy them?

Or how do they fake the giveaways?

I dont think all of them are fake, however it deppends on the business goals.

There is a guy who basically is raffles of 100k worth of Rolex is very famous now.

He sell the tickets, in the worst scenario they are down lets say 20% of the Watches and then they assume that lost as marketing budget because that usually drags a lot of attention.

I've recently see that the guy reached 1mm followers so I guess it should be a profitable way to do business somehow.

Think outside the box and you might find what's the goal on the giveaway, if there isn't it might be scam.

Yes, thats true, but im not speaking about that type of giveways, im talking about that type of influencers that they have 100-200K on ig, and there are giving 20-30k in prizes PER GIVEWAY, i dont think that they are taking any benefit, thats why i want to know his method

You don't have all the time in the world you know. Better off looking for things that benefit you, and are easily replicable by you, so you can set better and more achievable goals. Your research department doesn't get a budget to research about what looks like just a scam industry.

Such gifts are not always fake, as many people are interested in pure coverage. Look at what large companies do—they buy advertising so that people are simply aware of their existence.

Yes bro, but im not talking about type of giveways, im talking about those who her content is only giveways, is literally impossible to be profitble like this

I have checked SocialTradia and the cheapest one is 100$, do you any other one cheaper?

I would not imagine they are all fake. If they are losing money or gaining money, who knows? However, they would not continue to do it if they were losing large amounts of money.
