A "lottery winner" in Ohio writes to me.
First, he gives me a follow and explains that he's giving $5,000 to 1,000 followers. I think, cool. I ask if he sends BTC, and the guy tells me to give him his address.
Okay, I think $20,000 will solve all my problems.

He starts pasting screenshots of conversations with others, like when he sent PayPal and BTC to people for $5,000.

The conversations tell me to first send 50 euros to a charity in the UK and... the charity's email address in Gmail. The problem is, that email doesn't even exist on Google.
The guy tells me to buy a gift card, no matter what kind. So, sick kids want Steam codes or a discount for a sex shop? Because he gave me some website with codes. xD

I told it's a scam. I can send up to $1,000 to charity if he sends the $1,000 first. He blocked me, along with insults xD

Well, I finally told him he can now buy a new Twitter and Gmail account; I reported the previous one by phone call :)

I am sure he is BHW user xD

I get DMs like that on X all the time... Just dumb stuff that you can tell is BS right away

I just report as spam every time and don't engage.

Their audacity is always A+ :D ... 'cause I just ask myself how dumb they think people are to send stuff like that and think people will fall for it

Scammers are everywhere! Even in the new MARS by ELON.

Haha classic. They always mix some “charity” angle with random gift cards, like that’s gonna make it look legit. At least you had some fun trolling him before the block :D

Scammers will always be there while the people are ready to be scammed.. I was given many tries in the past, none worked out in the favor of scammers.

Scamming methods is been evolving every day with new ideas, had they invested this brain in something else, they would have become millionaires.
