Is YouTube also limiting the reach of AI based channel ?

They don’t limit reach just cause it’s AI, but bad watch time or low engagement kills you fast. Monetization is trickier — reused content or obvious TTS can get flagged. If vids keep ppl watching, YT doesn’t care much how they were made.

YouTube isn’t limiting AI channels by default, but poor originality or repetitive content can reduce reach and block monetization.

YouTube doesn’t restrict reach simply because content is AI-generated, but poor watch time or low engagement will hurt your channel quickly. Monetization is more challenging—reused content or obvious text-to-speech often gets flagged. As long as your videos keep viewers watching, YouTube doesn’t focus much on how they were created.

ai slop copy and paste. Reported.

YouTube is not limiting AI channels. Some AI channels still get good views if content is engaging.

They clearly said that no monetization for AI videos. It does not matter whether they are getting views or not.

Is YouTube also limiting the reach of AI based channel ? Or is it just that they cannot be monetized ?
Yes, YouTube is limiting the reach of AI-based channels if the content is low-effort or repetitive. Channels that add real human input—like commentary, editing, or personal insights—are safer and more likely to perform well.

Youtube cracking down on monetization of low effort, repetitive, or spammy Ai content. Fully Ai generated videos without meaningful human input are often demonetized. The focus is on originality and value, not the tools used. So using AI smartly is still okay.

Yes, there are some important considerations when it comes to AI-generated content on YouTube. But the platform isn’t necessarily limiting such content outright. Instead, YouTube emphasizes originality, quality and transparency.

YouTube doesn’t impose limits, but if you use AI, it may affect viewer experience, which could lead to lower watch time and potentially impact monetization.

It's been curbstomped substantially from what I've seen. Low reach, little to know hope of monetisation due to policy changes last July, that sort of thing. Although it depends on the content itself if it's sufficiently "original" or transformative. As long as the algo doesn't consider it inauthentic or lazy, it should still fly but that means a lot more manual edits and alterations.

YouTube doesn’t block AI channels, but if the content feels too “auto-made” or low effort, it might not get good reach or monetization.

Yes, YouTube may limit the reach of AI-based channels if their content violates policies on spam, misleading material, or low-quality automation.

YouTube isn’t directly blocking AI channels, but a lot of them get limited reach because the content feels repetitive or low engagement. Monetization is also stricter, if videos look mass-produced, they often get flagged. Channels that mix AI with original input or strong editing usually perform better.

As far as I know, YouTube does not punish AI channels. However, the clips you use must be original, as duplicated content are punished. Why an AI channel is not getting views can also be caused by user behavior and not by platform rules. Some struggle because there are people who actively avoid AI-generated content.

Both in my opinion. You can make money with AI content but not on YouTube now .

With AI , how can originality be possible ? It is possible only when the creator is himself creating the content.
