I work as a programmer for a company, but I'm looking for a way to earn money online. Years ago, I used to make a living with blogs (I hired writers), and before that, I also made money selling Instagram followers and using my own bot.

The thing is, I want something to work on that isn't built on sand and won't stop working like the other two methods I used…

Right now, everything online seems to be about personal branding, and I don't want to be in front of the camera.

I have some money to invest, but I don't know which path to take. Any recommendations?

There is decent money to be made in the retail botting industry as well as social media account management, if you're able to develop one that works very well on a handful of sites and update consistently buyers will pay up for it.

Do youtube automation with faceless video content.

As you said you are programmer, I would recommend you to make some automation program and sell it here or other platform. marketing automation with n8n is popular nowadays. Try it and let us know the result you get.

Personal branding does not require you to put your face on camera or show it anywhere...

You can literally brand anything if you build it authentically.
Take for example those faceless accounts that are doing well on social media... what made them a brand is most likely their content, not their face.

Your work can create a brand that people will trust without knowing you :)

Since you said you have some money to invest, I would say go and learn Betfair or bet exchange trading. Takes one week and you can be earning daily trading on football games or laying the Favorite horses.

You will thank me later for this if you take my advice.

There are still plenty of solid online models that don’t rely on personal branding. You could look into niche authority sites, SaaS tools, or even running ad/affiliate sites with long-term evergreen topics. What’s your budget range for investing?

working online and instable earnings were never possible for me and I have been working online since 2009ish

For stable online income, focus on creating a profitable niche website or developing software/tools to sell, as these models can generate steady income without relying on personal branding.

Blogging can give stable income especially if you run network of blogs. Freelance can also give stable income after some time. ..
Regarding branding, if you do not want to.show face , you can hire someone for this
