Hi, i wonder on how to start a hosting service and here is what information i've gathered so far

1. I use wisecp to manage the client panel
2. I use cPanel to manage the web hosting for client

I have few unused bare metal that have contract till next year, the server itself is not used anymore but cant be terminated because of commitment.

Anyone know how to start he hosting or is there any better idea to make the serer usefull?

I still not sure which one give me the best result that won't give me headache about regulation. I think wordpress hosting is the safest choice in this niche, is it correct?

1. Wordpress Hosting
2. I have 2 servers for this matter.
3. Consider it done
4. This still in progress, because i need to know the basic before move into pricing

And for the other option like

This is very interesting, how to get starting with the other option? i think other option require less additional budget than the hosting business.

The most important thing is whether you can handle the situation when something goes wrong?

Are you familiar with the technology enough to fix problems when they happen?

How good are your Linux management skills?

If they are not good and you cannot hire a systems admin, then you will need to learn it before starting the business. You must be able to solve issues quickly because web hosting customers can be sensitive to downtime. Downtime happens, and it happens with any sized company, even with some of the biggest hosting services you know.. The key is to resolve all issues quickly to minimize downtime.

If you are comfortable with managing a Linux server and cPanel, then it's all good. Also, don't forget about backups.. you will need a setup for that as well. Also, consider all additional tools you wish to offer your customers.

The easiest software for a customer facing system would be WHMCS.

It is not easy work. How do you plan to get clients for a new hosting company ? Not an easy task.
