Hi guys,

If I already have an Amazon.com Associates account, is it still allowed to apply for Amazon Associates accounts in another countries?

A new account needs to complete three sales before it can be approved, but how can amazon and I track three sales before the account is approved?

Will Amazon assign me an affiliate ID until my account is approved?

Yes, you can apply for Amazon Associates accounts in other countries even if you already have one for Amazon.com. Each country’s program is managed separately, so you’ll need to register individually.


For the three-sales requirement, Amazon will still give you a unique affiliate ID immediately after you apply. You can start promoting links with that ID right away, and any qualifying sales made within the approval period will count toward the three required sales.


If you don’t meet the requirement within the set time frame, the account will be closed, but you can reapply later.

Yes, you can create an Amazon Associates account in multiple countries. When you sign up, Amazon will provide you with a tracking ID to start promoting products. Orders will still be recorded through that ID, and if you have 3 orders within 180 days, your account will be approved.

As Amazon rules are varient for many specific countries,you still consider to remain your same account but must ensure to contact with Amazon support.
If their answer is negative,you can then consider new account.

With new account, you'll get a temporary ID to place it on your websites.
After confirmed 3 sales,they'll permit your new account in your new country position.

Don't apply yet. Put amazon links on your site, and let people see them and click through. Don't use or register them as affilaite links. Just keep them as naked links. Once you reach a couple of clicks every day or so, then apply, and update your links. That way you will have experiance knowing that people click on your ads already, and what to expect in terms of daily traffic. Worst case industry standard is 1% ctr to purchase. So bear that in mind. If you can proove even better then good, but i don't think it goes beyond 5%, and certainly not as high as 15% ever! lol
