Quick campaign spending tips

Cool tips for managing campaign spend, dude. Clearing those duplicate targets sounds key, especially with multiple campaigns - have you noticed a big difference after doing that?
Of course we noticed that.

Great tips, totally agree.
I’d also add: try refreshing creatives or switching to a different ad ID sometimes that alone can help trigger spending again.
And if it’s a new BM or via, warming up with small spends for a few days can make a big difference.
I think your suggestion is very helpful

Good checklist. Let share more. I’d add testing multiple creatives and audiences in parallel so you can quickly see what’s delivering and shift budget before campaigns stall.

Of course our friend has done a lot and tested a lot.

I see many people recommend avoiding overlapping targets between ad groups to reduce internal bidding. But I encountered a case where I ran 3 campaigns with quite similar customer files, and the ads still ran well without being warned of ‘audience overlap’. So how do I know exactly when the target group is overlapping and what is the most effective way to handle it?

Check for audience overlap periodically using the Audience Overlap tool.

If there is a warning — indicating a significant overlap — you should make adjustments.

Conversely, if there is no warning, you should still monitor performance to ensure that the system is not running duplicates that are wasting budget.

Good list. Overlapping targets are a killer, glad you mentioned it. Another thing often missed is making sure your targeting is actually broad enough to start, otherwise it can look like low spend even with a good setup.
