I've tested Hailuo and 11labs for English and Portuguese, good results overall even for solid chunks of text but you need to tweak the speed and tone when generating, and then tweak a little more in your video editing software. Liked hailuo more btw

So first take notes of what kind of graphics they are using.

The voice is also important - if people don’t like it, they simply won’t watch. As for the subject matter, focus on what’s trending right now rather than specific historical periods like 600 AD to 1200 AD. That approach only works if you’re making university-style lectures.

You can make videos on history topics from any year, what you need to do to get the focus of users is, increase your click bait factor in the title and thumbnail, for example - if your uploading video on war, title it as "the bloodiest war in history of mankind" or # you won't believe what they did to their prisoners" etc.

For thumbnail add texts that are intriguing like "burnt alive", "got skinned alive" something like that.

And yes you can choose topics that are a little more interesting, famous history topics etc.

Also check out other channels in the same niche and see what is different about their videos, why do they get very high views and replicate their thumbnail styles, editing style, choice of topics etc.
