Can I Compete After The Recent Updates?

I believe in 2023/2024 google updates prioritized reddit but also social media, there's a keyword i want to target which is extremely low comp BUT on the first page i see Tiktok , facebook and youtube ranking, there is one article with a DA of 8 but the rest is all social media.

do you think i would still end up on the first page with these social channels amidst these updates?

If the keyword is a money keyword
You can easily outrank most social media pages

Except for LinkedIn and reddit

Yes, you can still rank if you answer the query better.

When social media dominates the first page it usually means Google couldn’t find enough strong content for that keyword. If you write something highly relevant, optimized, and genuinely useful, you can absolutely break into the first page even with a low DA. I’ve seen niche blog posts outrank socials when they hit search intent well.
