I'm a professional Python script and bot developer, and I'm looking for ideas for automation bots that people would be excited to buy.

So far, I’ve built a few auto-posting bots, but I haven’t had much luck with sales. I’m currently listing them on Sell.app, but I’m open to other platforms as well.

I'd really appreciate:

• Any ideas for bots that are in high demand or solve real problems
• Suggestions on where to promote or sell these kinds of tools (forums, marketplaces, communities, etc.)

People usually pay for bots that save time or make repetitive tasks easier. Think along the lines of social media schedulers, data scrapers for market research, or automated reporting tools. For selling, try platforms like Gumroad, Fiverr, or niche forums/Discord groups for marketers and e-commerce owners—they’re often hungry for automation.

Nowadays when someone have an idea, they just take action building something with AIs, vibe coding, etc. You'll only get generic ideas here, if a good idea cross my mind, I will do that myself instead of giving it away for a random guy on internet

You need to plan marketing instead of looking for ideas to sell tools. You can't earn anything if you don't have interested people.

For example, make a channel on youtube about making money for newbies, then develop some methods to earn money, teach people those methods and sell tools to execute for newbies.

Once you find an audience, you can create programs and sell to them. But sometimes it'll be smarter to use referral links and sell tools of other people.

You come 2-3 years too late, at least for 99% of tasks.
Make, n8n, all other automation tools, scrapers (...) ... all that plus AI everywhere, online and already in the tools --> users can do 99% themselves, and if they can not, with all the hype around, they now understood that using these tools is a skill they HAVE to learn now.

So your 1% chance is if you have extremely original ideas (see Venusaur above; none will give you that, neither here nor elsewhere) or already a nice list of pro customers.
