How Often Should You Post on LinkedIn to Stay Relevant?

Posting every other day works well for me, it keeps engagement steady without feeling like too much.

For me, 1–2 quality posts a day works best. It keeps engagement steady without overwhelming followers. Consistency beats volume every time.

I post on every alternate days

But I make sure my Posts are engaging

I think it'll be better to do it everyday but you also need to interact with other people, comment on their posts so that you'll be more visible

Posting too little feels like you’re invisible. Too much can seem spammy. What’s the sweet spot that’s working for you?
most professionals seems to be 2–4 times per week. That’s enough to stay visible without overwhelming your audience. Focus on quality, not just frequency, and always share at the same time for every post

Totally agree, striking that balance is key. Posting every other day gives you time to create quality content without burning out your audience (or yourself!).

Yes, consistency really is the game-changer. 1–2 solid posts daily is a strong strategy if you can maintain quality — nice work keeping that up!

That's the right mindset. Frequency helps, but making sure your content connects with your audience is what really drives growth. Great approach!

Absolutely engagement goes both ways. Daily posting plus meaningful interactions with others can significantly boost visibility and reach.

2 3 quality posts a week seems to hit the sweet spot  Enough to stay on radar without annoying your network Engagement frequency every time
Love that! Finding the “sweet spot” is everything. Staying on the radar without being overwhelming is a solid long-term play.

Exactly timing and consistency really help build audience expectations. Posting 2–4 times per week with purpose and value is a winning formula.

I think three posts per week is enough to keep you alive in your community.

well said,
value driven content keeps people coming back. It’s not just about frequency
it’s about showing up with intention every time

I think it would be better to post every day. And make sure your posts are attractive. Don't publish for the sake of publishing.

Appreciate all the perspectives here!

Totally agree that quality matters more than just frequency. Whether it's 3 times a week or daily, what really counts is showing up with intention and delivering value each time.

it’s about making every post count. That’s how you build trust and real engagement over time :)

Post quality contents everyday, make it controversial so people can engage. it will make you feel seen, relevant and unforgettable. Also continue to optimize your profile as you grow

Honestly, I usually stick to 3–5 posts a week. Less than that and people forget you, more than that and it feels spammy.

Honestly, it’s all about consistency and giving value. Share quick tips, personal stories, or insights that actually help—people notice and engage way more than with constant self-promo.

Posting daily can work if the content is valuable, but for most people 3–4 strong posts a week keep reach steady without burning out.

Posting too little feels like you’re invisible. Too much can seem spammy. What’s the sweet spot that’s working for you?
I am a web developer, and in the morning, I post every single day except Sunday because Sunday is my holiday. However, creating engaging posts can take time. Some of my posts have reached 80k impressions, 820 likes, and many comments and reposts, while others only get around 1k impressions. You need to make your posts more conversational. Whenever someone with a good following or a company likes or comments on your posts, there's a greater chance for your post to grow.

Absolutely — it’s a fine line. What’s been working for me lately is aiming for 3–4 quality posts a week, spaced out just enough to stay visible without overwhelming people.

Think:
  • 1 personal insight,
  • 1 value-packed tip or resource,
  • 1 conversation starter,
  • maybe 1 behind-the-scenes or story if it fits.
That rhythm keeps engagement steady and feels authentic. What about you — are you trying to dial up your posting lately?

Posting daily is the standard (from Monday to Friday)
Groups posting is not dead also.
Share your posts privately with your network and via email marketing, as a part of your newsletter is a good practice too.

1–3 posts a week keeps you visible without overloading feeds. daily can work if content quality’s high, but filler posts kill engagement. best rhythm: mix 1 strong insight piece, 1 lighter/engagement post, and 1 reshare/comment on industry news.

Totally get that. I’ve found that 2–3 quality posts a week is the sweet spot for me enough to stay visible without overwhelming people. Still experimenting though! What’s working for you?
