Is Base chain the next Solana?

I’ve been watching the Base ecosystem for a while, and I’m surprised by how many good projects are building there. It’s not getting much attention yet because most people are still focused on Solana and ETH.


One project that stood out to me is TOWNS. It lets you create your own private version of apps like Discord or WhatsApp groups. You fully own it and can even make some money from it. I just found it, so I’ll do more research to see how big it could get. I’ll share updates later.


Do you use Base? Found anything interesting there?

It’s cheap & fast to use, but I think that it’s lacking volume in terms of projects that are being built upon the chain itself. Solana did pretty good this cycle because pumpfun attracted a huge amount of people.

True, but Solana and base was like that though, and they stepped uo big time. With more projects building on base like the one I mentioned, there'll be more exposure for the token. Did you check out Towns?. Heard users didn't fancy the drop, though it's making waves in B G launchpool though. Might explore the option since it's more safer.

Base has a huge potential for this next altseason and tend to reach a massive volume, but it's a bit different and I don't think we can compare it to Solana
