no impressions

Hey guys, Dima here. I have posted 3 ads on facebook and gave them a 15-20$ daily budget.
The status says "Active" but there are no impressions (views by target audience), I have set them up yesterday, should I wait more or am I doing something wrong?
I feel like im missing something important (I post white stuff)

Hey Dima - also double check that you’re looking at the right date range in Ads Manager. For whatever reason, Facebook loves defaulting to earlier months (no idea why). I've had ads showing "0" impressions when they were actually running just fine - just wrong date selected.

Just saw the screenshot. Since the date range is set to “Today and Yesterday,” and it’s still showing no impressions, here’s what I’d try next:

1. It might still be stuck in review, even if it says “Active.” Facebook’s weird like that sometimes. Try duplicating one of the ads and re-publishing it - can help force it to go live.
2. Double check your audience size. If it's too small or super narrow, Facebook might not spend at all- especially on a new account.
3. Placements or bidding settings could also be holding things back. Try using automatic placements and a broad audience just to get it moving.

If there’s still no activity after 24 hours, I’d rebuild one campaign from scratch just to rule out any setup glitch.

Hey Dima, if it’s been more than 24 hours and still no impressions, something’s probably off.
double-check your ad approval status, audience targeting, and payment method. sometimes even a small issue (like a rejected ad or too narrow audience) can block delivery.
also worth trying to duplicate the ad and re-submit, that helps in some cases.

If your ads are active but getting no impressions after 24 hours, that's not normal. The issue is often related to the setup:

Audience too narrow
Ad stuck in internal review
Payment method issu
Check:
The size of your audience
Your budget (not too low for the chosen target)
Your payment method

you can check things related to your ad such as:
+ is the page still active or has been restricted
+ Does your payment method have enough balance and is there any hold, and is there any spending limit on the account
+ Check your campaign again to see if the geography you want to distribute the campaign and the time zone of the account are similar
Currently, fb has very strict pre-distribution review steps, so the problem of accounts not spending happens a lot

i guess it's because the account is slow to spend, you can set up a test camp first, wait until the test camp is active and spending, then monitor if your main camp is spending. i tried it and it works fine.

Probably audience overlap, super narrow targeting, low bid strategy, or account trust score. Try double checking your ad set level like placement, optimization goal, and whether your page is properly verified.

I’ve been there. If your ads are active but getting zero impressions after 24 hours, something’s not right.
Here’s a checklist to help you troubleshoot:


1. Ad still “In Review”?
Even if it says Active, sometimes Facebook is slow to fully approve and push it. Check if it’s stuck in some review limbo — especially if it’s a new ad account.


2. Audience targeting too narrow?
If you’re going super specific with detailed targeting + small geo radius, FB might not serve the ad properly. Try widening the audience a bit and see what happens.


3. Placement issues?
If you only selected 1 or 2 placements (like only Instagram Stories or Facebook Feed), and your creative doesn’t fit the format, it might cause delivery issues. Try “Automatic Placements” for now to test.


4. Billing / Ad Account Health?
Check if your payment method is okay. Sometimes FB flags something silently. Also, check your ad account’s trust level — new accounts sometimes face delivery throttling for the first few days.


5. Are you using a new Pixel / domain?
If your landing page or domain is brand new (and not verified in Business Manager), FB may throttle impressions or outright block it from delivery. Try verifying your domain and warming up the pixel.


What I’d suggest:

• Duplicate one of the ads into a new ad set with broad targeting and automatic placements — just to test delivery.
• Don’t panic yet — Facebook can be slow with new accounts, but if by Day 2 you still have zero impressions, that’s a clear flag.
