I was thinking of doing 1 or 2 follow ups, if the user hasnt replied. would that still be counted towards the overall daily limit

Usually follow-ups don't count towards the cold DM daily limit. The limit mainly applies to new message threads so there's that. If you do send a lot of follow-ups too quickly, you can still be flagged. Best to pace that activity so you avoid it.

The safe limit does not apply to follow-up messages. The limit applies to new users who get the message. Once you message that user, you can them reply to them as much as you want (within reasonable limits) without getting flagged, and the account will stay safe.

no, the follow up message won't be counted to the daily limit. Keep in mind that don's spam follow-up messages to keep your accounts safe.

I think follow-up messages probably count towards the DM limit. Just be chill and space 'em out, or you might hit the limit and get flagged!
That's fine. Just be careful with them, I count them. I don't count responses though. You don't want your accounts to get spam inboxed.
Hey do you mind me asking how many DMs you are sending over a given time frame, cause i was thinking about it and if i count follow ups towards the limit I would have to basically half the number of new people im reaching out to just to follow up once and 1/3 if i follow up twice. Would really help if you could give me some data

From what Ive seen follow up messages to users who already replied dont count the same as cold DMs But if youre spamming too fast even follow ups can trigger limits
Ultimately it depends on your account age, and warmup. If it's not warmed for DMs you should take it slow do about 5 a day per account and up it by 5 every couple of days until about 20-30/day. (Not including responses you those don't count).

If you don't spam the follow ups with shitty links, then you're fine to do follow ups as many as you want, don't over ldo it sonce will look spammy
I have made the tool myself for sending the first message, currently i selectively send follow up messages by hand, but im thinking of integrating the follow up feature into the code so i dont have to. I was thinking of following up at a different time from the when i actually send messages to new users, and i was thinking of doing it in like batches
Im using aged accounts from friends, i currently have 3 and have warmed them up from like 20 messages a day, currently at 60. so im sending like 180 messages. Im thinking if i follow up with the people i messaged the day before, and count that to towards the daily limit. Ill only be able to send 90 messages (Slightly less because some people would reply like 88 or 87 depending on the number of people who reply). My question is it worth it to reduce the number of new people i message everyday for follow ups. Would i get more replies, in your experience? I would just test everything but im bootstraping and i dont really wanna buy instagram accounts and go through the whole process of warming them up again.
Yea, i do them manually right now, and i do not post links. Like i mentioned to another user, i cant test everything since im bootstrapping and dont wanna buy instagram accounts. What would you say is a good strategy for following up. Should i do it batches at a different time from when i message new people? Do you have any advice on important things that i should and shouldnt do? or is the spammy links the most important part
im only thinking about following up once or twice. Im using aged accounts and properly warming them up, and yes this is for digital marketing

I think in your case it would save you time and a potential spam restriction to post minijobs (they're small low cost "tasks"). You can delegate other users to advertise your services on IG or any social media without compromising your main accounts. I believe the SproutGigs site currently offers that option

Yes, follow-up messages to the same user generally don't count toward the new DM limit, but mass messaging or spammy behavior can still trigger blocks. Best to keep it natural and spread out.
