Is Facebook okay?

The recent exodus of the platform is a sign that the game has become more difficult, not that it is “dead.” Rising advertising costs, strict censorship policies, and increasing account restrictions have forced many small or inexperienced advertisers to stop. But on the other hand, for those who understand how to operate the system, optimize their accounts, control content, and distribute — there are still many profitable opportunities. The market is not disappearing, it is just that the barriers to entry have increased. The question is: are you ready to adapt to this increasingly complex environment?

Facebook is not for amateurs anymore mate.
It is really expensive if you don't know what are you doing

Even the monetization system is crashing...

Lately I see a lot of people have been abandoning Facebook advertising.
bids have been more expensive lately so it seems advertisers are not seeing any profit. hopefully things will get better in the future

The results are a bit more difficult, but it also depends on the quality of your account.

The baby boomers were the only group of people worth marketing to. Now they've either smarten up and left or died.

And without the boomers the only group left is India. So start advertising lottery tickets or move on to a different platform.

Yes, Facebook advertising has become less effective for some businesses, mainly due to increased competition, changes in the algorithm, and stricter advertising policies. Many advertisers are moving to other platforms such as TikTok, Google Ads, or Instagram, which offer better targeting or engagement, depending on their target audience.

But for me, Facebook is still a fast and effective channel to reach customers

FB still works, but it’s more pay-to-play now, and creative fatigue hits fast.
You need better hooks, shorter videos, and cleaner funnels to stay profitable.
TikTok and YouTube Shorts are stealing attention, but FB still converts with the right offer.

Yes, Facebook still works well , especially when combined with the right setup and account structure. While it’s more sensitive than before, stable BM accounts and proper warm-up can still deliver solid performance.

The ads cost increase. Peoples have become more aware of the services/product quality or lack of quality so is not more profitable for a lot of peoples who advertise products that is sh1t :)

Due to recent updates and changes of fb, it has become difficult and expensive to run campaigns and advertisements, leading to difficulties for advertisers and they need to find platforms that are also developing to ensure their work, but if they know how to work and be effective, fb is still a potential and profitable platform.

I see some people reduce spending on Facebook due to increased costs and they are adjusting to be more effective, not giving up completely, some still see Facebook as an effective advertising channel. Some are also switching to other platforms. However, it is undeniable that Facebook is still an extremely potential channel.

Yeah, a lot of people are leaving FB Ads lately performance has dropped hard. CPMs are up, targeting is worse since the iOS updates, and support is almost useless.

For some niches, it’s still okay, but most marketers I know are shifting to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, or direct outreach (DMs, cold email). Also seeing more focus on building owned audiences (email, Discord, etc.) instead of renting traffic from Meta.

It’s not dead, but it’s definitely not the golden goose it used to be.

Advertising costs have increased due to Facebook's recent updates and changes, making it more difficult and expensive to run campaigns and ads. As a result, advertisers are looking for other emerging platforms to ensure the stability of their work. However, if used effectively and strategically, Facebook remains a highly potential and powerful channel.

the ads costs are increasing and users are leaving FB to others. It's really dif now.

I personally abandoned it a few years ago, but I'm helping a friend who runs leads and engagement campaigns to get patients for her clinic, zero problems here...I guess the major problem comes when you start announcing ecommerces, sale campaigns, dropshipping items and this kind of ads, they are much more strict with them

Yes, I see that trend too. Many people are looking for alternative channels due to reduced efficiency or limited accounts, but with the right approach, Facebook can still deliver good results.
