I am working on a project in which I need to make a specific company listed on LinkedIn look like it has more employees than it currently does. I need to add around 1,000 new profiles with different names, work locations, start dates, job titles, education, etc to boost up the apparent size of the company.

Once the profiles are setup, we dont need to maintain them (i.e. once off setup is fine). Each one should have a few connections and activity to make it look more legitimate.

I created a few hundred LinkedIn profiles already but it has been time consuming. Is there a way or service to get this done more efficiently?

You Mean some kind of tool which can help to create connection in bulk for you with filtering ?
Create profiles of new people. Not connections. I need to make it look like the company has many employees when someone searches for "who works at the company" using LinkedIn.

I had around 500 profiles created. I did so in bulk with minimal countermeasures since why bother overcomplicating things when things are working fine. Around 12-18 months ago, LinkedIn became very aggressive with the deletion of profiles. Out of those 500 profiles, around 480 got deleted and/or restricted. I was left with 20 profiles.

So, the number of employees showing went from 500 down to 20.

I then created a new system:

(1) Collect demographic data from the US Census Bureau and other sources (e.g. top 100 most common first names, top 100 most common last names, top 100 employers in America, top 100 job titles in America, top 50 universities with largest enrollment, etc.)

(2) Create a randomizer that will now create a person by taking those names (e.g. Random Number Generator makes a number to identify male vs female, age, city, university graduated from, bachelor vs master vs phd, etc.) which would then create a full blank canvas profile. It would be say Rebecca, aged 45, from Los Angeles, graduated from UCLA with Bachelor degree in Journalism, with 10 years professional experience in broadcast media.

(3) Put that full profile into chatGPT or another LLM to then create a resume - "Rebecca, aged 45, from Los Angeles, graduated from UCLA with Bachelor degree in Journalism, with 10 years professional experience in broadcast media, please make me my resume to post on LinkedIn"

(4) Dump all that into a nice LinkedIn profile with new IP address, new email address, etc.

Problem is that that is time consuming and takes me a few hours. I was wondering if people have a better approach...

Creating that many legit-looking LinkedIn profiles manually is tough and time-consuming. Some sellers offer aged LinkedIn accounts with activity, but scaling 1,000 with unique details is rare and expensive. Automating this risks bans since LinkedIn is strict. Your best bet is buying aged accounts and customizing them slightly, or hiring a team to batch-create over time
