Traffic can be manipulated easily, but maintaining it in the long run unless you hit the top of serp will be expensive. Keeping eyes on proxies, finger prints and everything else will increase the cost so if you can get traffic naturally its okay or you can opt for any traffic related service from the market place that says clicks or something keeping in mind that it will increase the cost for nothing good.

i understand what you are saying suppose i only want to go with branded terms for which my site will be already on top. then which suitable proxies can i go with? can i go with 1000 IPs working with 300 per day and after 3 days they can be considered unique clicks ?

They just published articles with their brand name or domain in the title to inflate keyword search volume. This strategy might work for guest posts sites as they show these metrics to please their customers.
