http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/members/112954-blackhatq.html This son of bitch asked me to code a craiglist email scraper.After conversations we agreed at a price of $250.I asked for a upfront which he refused.Anyway i developed the bot for him.And provide him with sample run for the city of boston.
and than he kept me waiting telling that he is waiting for her partner to verify the emails..than finally after 10 days he says that some other guy is offering the similar bot for $xx so i wont pay you.

My suggestion dont work with him..or you are risking your hard earned money.

I knew that guy was gonna keep scamming and be put here eventually. Thanks for bringing it up risefromdeath.

Back in June he asked me to clone a site for him and then make two videos, all of which I did. A few days later when I had everything ready and asked for payment, he said he'd hired someone else to clone the site at the same time as he'd hired me to do it and that he had forgotten about it. He made me waste my time by doing both jobs, which by the way the videos weren't part of his original request on the Hire a Freelancer section, and then paid me a few bucks for the video work. I told him he had to compensate with something for making me do a job he didn't need me to do and offered him to at least give him the site's graphics in exchange. He agreed and then started making excuses not to pay me.

A few weeks after that he left me an itrader out of the blue and said some shit about being honest and wanting to pay me for the site, which again, he never did.

Here are his details:

Beware if someone with those details contacts you. He's definitely a scammer.
 
Great ffs. This rat contacted me some days ago for some facebook codeing job and tens of thousands of invites, i just 2 days ago gave to him my coder's contact... so i gonna send a mail right now to the guy so he wont get scammed by him.

Its only a scam when money is transferred and 1 person does not get what they intended to get. I told you numerous times, I was sourcing for someone else.

What kind of idiot would pay $250 for something that is available for $50, and given you dropped your price to $100 when you realised you were over charging ?

I'm sorry for not throwing away my $250 on something I can get for $50. If you want to sell it to me for $100, I can find you a buyer. But I cannot give you $50.

Always ask for the upfront. If they refuse, then it's a scam.
 
Unless you know their work then yes. But if you request them you normally do.
 
I always ask for 50% upfront from a new customer.
Any job after the first one, he pays only after testing it.
