Built a Movie Site – Worth It?

I've just finished building a movie streaming website.


I integrated around 20 third-party sources to cover most of the popular and well-known content.
Additionally, I developed my own API to handle data fetching and store everything in a database. As users search and browse the site, the API works silently in the background, gradually building a large content library over time — possibly covering most content within a few months.


The design is simple yet modern, loads fast, and is fully optimized for mobile devices. Images are compressed and lazy-loaded for performance.


I've also added download options from some third-party sources, as well as implemented some basic on-page SEO.


The website hasn't launched yet, but I’m trying to evaluate whether it’s worth continuing or not.

I’ve heard the competition in this niche is pretty intense.

Anyway back to topic, sounds like a solid project, you should absolutely push it forward, goodluck mate.

Agree, invasive ads are a major turn-off, or pushes the user to use adblocks.

Focus on your traffic. Much better if you hire an expert on ads or related on traffic.

I own one, and it's worth it. However, mine is hosted manually, as it comes with local subtitles. I could rank it with a few simple GSA blasts, but the biggest challenge is with copyrights, as you know.

So what you do if Google remove you from search results you change the domain?

Too Many of such sites are out there now unless you are providing something others don't youll have to try real hard to get something out of it also adding your sites to directories would help get instant traffic sites like fmhy

That's what am thinking it's just another clone which thousand of website are out there and already ranked

Fmhy traffic is useless most of users use adblock and they have different options

Do you extract the .m3u8 link direct from provider or just use an iframe

movie website is good with backlinks to get index webpage links on upload content with video which need to get essays from movie directors or producers to get website authority content than getting reports for publicity.
