Buying subscribers from SMM panel pros and cons?

I have a client who wants me to buy "as many subscribers as humanly possible" Im worried this might mess with their account because if I buy subs who says they will be active or consistent? Anybody else have experience in this?

The only positive point is that it increases social proof. The negative points: the apparent success is an illusion, bots will not watch your new videos, extremely low retention rate, the channel may be affected by YouTube policies, with thousands of subscribers and so few views, it will become clear that the channel is a fraud.

If you choose a good panel, it would not hurt negatively. But add views in batches.

99.99% of the gigs in the market place are resellers, getting them from the same place.

Subs go up but then get removed 3-4 days later.
