Hi!

I'm currently running four web projects that receive 1.4 million daily clicks from Google Search (according to Google Search Console). Traffic is global. I monetize the sites with popunder and subscription ads from Monetag. Do you have any other ideas for monetization?

Depending on your niche, you can add CPA offers and see if it will convert.

It's the "download" niche. I have tried CPA several times without any success.

Try adding high-converting CPM ad networks like Adsterra or PropellerAds, test native ads with MGID or Revcontent, and consider affiliate offers via ClickBank or Adtraction. For global traffic, push notifications (e.g. via Notix) and direct ad sales can also boost revenue.

Monetag = Propellerads

My experience with native ads has been pretty bad because several advertiser use redirects.

Join buysellads or sell your advertising spaces for fixed price to media buyers. You can also split test offers, but it will require time and efforts. But it will be more profitable.

You can monetize with push subscriptions, CPA in same niche, affiliate offers, and collecting leads for remarketing. You can also grow social media pages for remarketing.

We are already doing push subscriptions, but it's hard to find "working" CPA offers for the download niche.

Have you tried AdSense or affiliate offers?
Adsense is not available for this niche.

If the users are desperate for content, then you can use content lockers. If the users just move on to competitors, then it'll be difficult.

Wow, 1.4 million daily clicks is insane!

For the download niche with that kind of traffic, you've got some really good options beyond popunders.

Native ads work really well in download niches.
Companies like MGID, Taboola, and Outbrain pay way better than popunders.
You can integrate them naturally into your content without being too aggressive.

Affiliate programs for software downloads could be huge for you.
Companies like Adobe, Microsoft, and other software vendors have affiliate programs.
With your traffic volume, even a 1% conversion rate would be massive.

Display advertising with Google AdSense or Media.net might work better than you think.
The download niche usually has decent CPM rates.
You could easily be making $5-10k per day with display ads at that traffic level.

Sponsored content and reviews could be another goldmine.
Software companies would kill to get exposure to 1.4 million daily visitors.
You could charge $500-2000 per sponsored post.

Email capture and email marketing.
With that much traffic, you could build a massive email list.
Then promote software deals and affiliate offers to your list.

Why didn't CPA work for you?
Was it the offers you were promoting or the way you were implementing them?
With that traffic, you should be able to make CPA work if you target the right offers.

What kind of download content are you publishing?
That would help me suggest more specific monetization strategies.

With 1.4M+ clicks per day, the key is to focus on networks that can handle high volume and optimize for your traffic type. Pop, push, and interstitial formats usually perform best at scale. Testing different formats and monitoring performance will help maximize your RPM.

Wow 1.4M click per day. share with me just 20 k clicks per day and i would be very happy hahahaa !!
