Turn $10 into $200 in one hour

Thanks this is a nice share!!

And your mind is the only limitation you can use the E-Junkie reseller program to get a piece of that pie to :).

If you make your site around a service do some research and check if there is another service that would neatly fit with yours, and try to get a JV with them :), you'll have another piece of the pie.

And then you'll see that upselling is really the thing to do. Thats how you can get the client to stay with you, and even sell them new sites you make or whatever build a list out of buying clients. You can also say that you offer them the first 3 months off (hosting), and then they will get an account with you just to give a spin on it ;).

Guys it still works I did this a while ago. Although didn't make near as much, but considering time spent not bad:)

why not sell on Flippa?

This is quicker and cheaper. It was also to show that marketplaces like DP shouldn't be ignored. If you list on Flippa you risk losing money if your site doesnt sell for enough - this method allows you to experiment and learn the game free :)

Did you also provide them the tool to do it? And did you make it?

I have a good twist for this. I hope it works. Thanks for the share :)

Yep. You should be able to find most software as PLR. Doesn't need to be anything complicated.

For example, you could have a site that offers search engine submissions for $15 - there are hundreds of free programs out there that do that.

Thanks for the response.

I was thinking of making my own software and then create a site that would basically sell services for it and I would include my source code and the tool would be unique. Basically what you did but create my own tool and provice source with it. I just can't find anything similar on flippa so I don't know if it would work. It would take me only about 2 - 3 hours to create the soft and about 1 hour for everything else. I'm not completely sure if I could sell it for anything more than 200$. I'm thinking at least 300-400$ would be good. I could then make changes to the software and repeat everything over and over again.

For example I'm thinking of a website submitter that would submit a website to 100k other dns, statistic and other websites. And make services about it.

Have you seen anything like this on flippa?

Thanks

Here's a better idea:

Create some cool software.

Make a load of sites that resell this software as a service (or sell the software itself). Sell these sites and give buyers a single use license for the software so they can resell the service.

Sell these sites from a website. Something like softwarewebsites.com. Make sure people can come to the site and order a reseller website nice and cheap (say $97). Also sell the sites on DP and Flippa (make sure you mention your site so hopefully some people will go to your site).

Once you've sold loads of the sites, sell the whole business on Flippa. They will be buying the website shop and full source code of the software. You'll be able to show revenue from all the sites you've sold.

This is a very easy way to build a five figure business within a few months. Hope that makes sense - you can add your own twist.

Already got some new ideas with this. Will certainly give this a try.

Thanks again

I have some autoblogs that earn on average 75 cents a day on adsen$e... is DP the way to go or should I go with Flippa? I'm still learning the game.

Does this kind of thing work for "niche based" sites? I have a few of those that are laying around... many of which would be good for various aff. networks, but I want to get rid of them and move on to other things.

Never tried it with niche sites to be honest, but the concept of upselling is universal to site flipping and can apply to anything.

Only probably with niche sites is that 100s of people on DP sell them, and by selling a site offering a service you differentiate yourself.

Uhhh and how many people just have a "program" laying around? lol... WTF.
No wonder no one has thanked the post.

What are you talking about?

Have you actually read anything I have written in this thread?

"I realise not all of you will have the resources I mentioned" - From my OP

You clearly haven't understood the point.

I'd also hazard guess that most BHW members have some sort of "program" lying around, despite the fact that it isn't the point.

And dude, I literally couldn't care less about "thanks" - you won't see me begging for it.

MeatHead, of course everybody is different but doing some keyword research and writing optimized articles seems a lot easier than what you are describing if the site could be sold for the same amount.
Following the chronological description of events in your posts, I would say:
Keyword research - 30 min.
Register a domain (with one of the keywords in the domain) 5 min.
Order some keyword optimized articles 5 min.
Configure DNS, install WordPress and post the articles 15 min.
Order a backlinking package (bookmarking/article submission, etc.) 5 min.
That's about an hour of work. All this I could do myself but I have no idea how to do myself what you described.
Problem is, it's not that simple and I doubt there are many takers for a site that's not making any money.

you're wrong. you're not going to make a fortune on a site that isnt making money but if you can come up with a good keyword/s and get a start on the backlinking you can sell a site for 100.00 all day.
there is a guy over at wf that does just that. you buy a package from him and he provides a kw website for 100. (hes on this forum too).
the hardest thing is getting lucky finding the keywords that work.
i spend my first 1 to 2 hours a day looking for keyword ideas and then i start working. i usually get a few a week.
