I have seen that domain for sale banners have a link of registrar or the website where that domain is available for sale so, in this case will authority will pass to that broker or registrar? But sales page or banner is inevitable part of this domain industry. How to avoid passing SEO value?

Good question! To avoid passing SEO value, just add a rel="nofollow" tag to the broker link. That way, users can click it, but no authority is passed. Clean and safe for SEO!

I only have an option to add sales page via Nameservers.

One effective way is to use a rel="nofollow" attribute for the links in the banner. This tells search engines not to follow or pass authority through those links. Additionally, ensuring that the primary content and links on your website are relevant and high-quality can help preserve the SEO value of your domain.

No, SEO authority won't pass if you use nofollow, ugc, or sponsored attributes on the link. To avoid passing SEO value, simply add rel="nofollow" to the banner link.

Hey, good question. You want to make sure your site's efforts aren't unfairly benefiting the platform you're selling on. The key is how you structure that outbound link. Implement a specific attribute on the link pointing to the registrar or broker. This tells web crawlers not to pass any weighting from your page to theirs. That's the go-to method to keep your own site's standing strong and not dilute it for external partners.

Use nofollow or sponsored tags on sale banners to prevent passing SEO value.

When a domain for sale banner links to a broker or registrar site, does SEO authority (link juice) pass to that site? And if you want to avoid passing SEO value through that link, how do you do it?
