Hello guys I'm designing a website for a service that requires the frontpage usually showing Mission, Vission, About, Contact, Reviews etc.

My question is for sites like this does the blogging SEO get affected as the posts are not at all in the frontpage/sidebars? Should I just stick to a traditional news/blogging theme instead showing recent posts in the homepage?

As long as your blog articles have a crawl depth within 3 you're fine without adding recent posts widget on your homepage.

if your goal is to drive traffic via content, having a blog section that’s easy to find even if not on the homepage is key. You can keep your clean service-focused homepage and still rank well

just make sure your blog is accessible, optimized, and regularly updated

It’s all about structure, not necessarily where the blog appears visually

You can still rank well without showing blog posts on the homepage. Just make sure your internal linking is strong and your blog has its own section that's easy to crawl. No need to switch themes if the layout fits your service.

Add blog link on the footer and on the main menu. It will be just fine.
