Why do people still prefer Facebook when there are platforms like Google, TikTok, Bing, and Twitter that offer higher returns and better profits than advertising? Could this simply be due to Facebook's trustworthiness? Because in the campaigns I've created so far, I've generally seen better results on other platforms.

Maybe it's because it's easier to use than other platforms, and people often get their first taste of advertising on Facebook, but if you ask me, it's long gone. It's just a waste of money.

People still use Facebook because of its massive user base with 3 billion user, and very detailed targeting options.

Users still favor Facebook not only for its reliability, but also for its ability to reach a large, diverse audience and its sophisticated targeting tools. While other platforms may provide a higher direct ROI for some campaigns, Facebook is still strong when it comes to branding and demand generation. Each platform has its own strengths that suit different advertising goals.

Many people still choose Facebook because this platform has a strong advertising ecosystem, is easy to use and reaches many audiences, especially the middle-aged group with high purchasing power. Although other platforms such as TikTok or Google sometimes bring better results, Facebook is still trusted because of its reliability and strong remarketing capabilities.

It is undeniable that Facebook is still a very influential and leading platform. Along with the birth and development of other platforms, Facebook is also constantly changing to develop and innovate.

Its easy to use.

Good question. Despite recent challenges, Facebook/Meta still offers the largest user base and highly detailed targeting—especially strong for certain verticals like ecom, lead gen, and local services. That’s why many still prefer it, even while testing other platforms.

There is no “best” platform – just the one that fits your goals, audience and resources.
If you find TikTok or Google to be delivering a higher ROI, that’s a competitive advantage – use it, but don’t abandon Facebook entirely if it still has remarketing or branding potential. Because people still spend a lot of time on Facebook every day, especially in many Asian, African and Latin American markets – where TikTok or Twitter haven’t quite taken over.

I understand that when advertising on Facebook, you can select a specific audience, but when advertising on Google, for example, you can show your ad directly to people searching for "buy followers," which is a direct sales strategy. Setting your keywords to exact match will save you money. Facebook delivers your ad to a much more general audience.

I think it will be more usable and easier to operate first has more advantages than other platforms

Facebook is a popular platform because it has many users and can easily advertise when you invest in its policies which are complicated from new.

Because in reality FB still has the largest number of users and everything is easier to access.

Facebook has a huge user base and it breaks down the details as well as it is easy to set up campaigns and target specific goals that suit many different industries and products.

very simple because FB has a large number of visitors every day. diverse content so it will always be the priority choice

Good point. FB still works for some niches, especially where visuals and impulse buys matter. But yeah, lately TikTok and Google have been outperforming in many verticals. Might just be habit or familiarity keeping people on FB.
